Engineering Manager

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a high-performance and inclusive team culture. • Oversee the full software development lifecycle for features within the CM domain, from planning to production. • Partner with Product Managers to align engineering priorities with roadmap goals and business objectives. • Define technical approach and architecture in collaboration with senior engineers and architects. • Drive Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. • Identify and address technical debt, platform risks, and delivery blockers proactively. • Establish and monitor engineering quality standards, including code review, testing, and deployment practices. • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations with direct reports. • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Platform Engineering, and Product teams to ensure seamless delivery. • Communicate team progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to senior leadership.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an engineering management or team lead role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and grow engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in backend and/or full-stack software development.
  • Experience delivering software in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across product, design, and engineering disciplines.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management to define priorities and resolve trade-offs.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development practices and modern software delivery pipelines.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • This role requires travel for up to 5% of work-time.
  • This role requires support of the business hours, 8 am to 5 pm EST.
