About Aleph Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We’re trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions. Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others. We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM). What you'll do - Lead a team building and scaling end-to-end production systems - Set technical direction and raise the engineering bar - Hire, develop, and retain exceptional talent - Balance high standards with empathy - foster both speed and quality - Own outcomes for your team's area of the product The engineering problems we’re solving span everything from building thoughtful, performant UIs to complex data modeling and large-scale integrations. If you’d like to learn more about engineering here, take a look at our engineering careers page. What we're looking for - Leadership: A style that blends high standards with empathy - Technical depth: Experience building complex B2B products at scale - Talent development: Track record of hiring and growing high-performing engineers - Ownership: You've led teams that shipped meaningful products, not just maintained code - Communication: Clear, direct, persuasive across all audiences - Values alignment: You believe in high autonomy, high expectations, and treating people well Tech stack You're familiar with our tech stack or can learn unfamiliar technologies quickly - Typescript, Python, React, Node.js - GCP - BigQuery, MongoDB, Postgres - Deployment tools: GitHub Actions + GCP - Observability tools: Datadog While this is a remote-first opportunity, we're focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with our working hours as a team.
