POSITION TITLE: SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, PRACTICE TECHNOLOGY LOCATION: - The ideal candidate will work remotely and have the ability to travel two (2) times per quarter or up to 10-15%. - The ideal candidate will have a HIPAA compliant home office in one of the following states: RI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, DC, MA, NH, VT, VA, IA, OH POSITION SUMMARY: - This is an Execution-Focused Delivery role - The Senior Business Systems Analyst, Practice Technology is an execution-first individual contributor responsible for end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives aligned to practice operations. This role owns initiatives from intake and discovery through delivery, stabilization, and post-implementation follow-through. - This is a hands-on delivery role, not an advisory or coordination-only position. Success is measured by outcomes shipped, problems resolved, operator satisfaction, and execution clarity, even when development work is performed by external vendors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - 4-year degree required - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Systems Analyst related positions - Experience partnering with external vendors - Experience in analytics such as, but not limited to, data bricks, Cigma, SQL - Cross-org implementations, experience working with EMR- products - Strong project management background and comfortable with technical details - Proven experience owning delivery of complex initiatives in operational environments - Strong project execution and follow-through skills - Experience working with integrated enterprise systems (e.g., EMRs or operational platforms) - Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and incomplete information - Strong written communication skills with a bias toward documentation and clarity - Willingness to engage directly with users and operational teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience in healthcare or regulated operational environments strongly preferred - Experience with AI and automation experience - PMP certification preferred - Experience supporting, configuring, or optimizing EMR systems preferred - Hands-on experience with reporting, analytics, or data validation - Background in product operations, platform delivery, or systems enablement RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Delivery Ownership & Project Execution - Own assigned initiatives from intake through completion - Create and maintain clear project plans, including scope, milestones, risks, and dependencies - Drive execution across vendors, support teams, and internal stakeholders - Proactively identify blockers and escalate with recommended options - Accountable for timelines, readiness, and quality of delivery - This role is expected to execute and deliver, not simply participate or coordinate Practice Engagement & Workflow Discovery - Serve as a practice-facing technology lead for assigned work - Conduct on-site observation, shadowing, and workflow analysis when needed - Translate real-world operational workflows into clear requirements and delivery plans - Build trust with operators through presence, responsiveness, and follow-through - Direct engagement with end users and operational teams is a required part of this role 3. Requirements & Solution Definition - Elicit, document, and clarify business and system requirements - Produce clear written artifacts, including: - Problem statements - Requirements summaries Assumptions and constraints / Decisions and tradeoffs - Ensure shared understanding and alignment prior to development or configuration work 4. Tier-4 Support & System Stewardship - Act as a Tier-4 escalation point for complex system issues - Lead resolution of high-impact incidents, including communication and follow-up - Partner with support teams to ensure issues are routed, resolved, and documented appropriately - Identify recurring issues and recommend systemic improvements to reduce future risk 5. Data & Analytics Enablement - Use data to validate issues, inform decisions, and confirm outcomes - Participate in QA and validation of reports and analytics outputs - Comfortable working with reporting tools and data sources (e.g., Databricks, Tableau, SQL-based systems) - Ability to independently investigate data or reporting issues is a strong plus - Insight and validation are required; deep engineering expertise is not. 7. Role Description Windward is seeking a highly motivated Associate ServiceNow Business Analyst – Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to support the successful implementation and adoption of ServiceNow applications across customer organizations.
