• Perform startup and commissioning of building and utility systems such as HVAC, chilled water, water systems, electrical systems, fire protection, pH neutralization, and waste systems. • Generate and manage engineering lifecycle documentation, including impact assessments, URS/FRS documents, FAT/SAT documentation, ETOPs, and P&IDs. • Conduct drawing walkdowns and verify field installation of equipment and utilities. • Develop and execute commissioning protocols and reports. • Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during commissioning and startup activities. • Utilize systems such as BMS, PCS, and CMMS; experience with KNEAT is a plus. • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, facilities, operations, and quality to support project deliverables.

• Generate and execute validation lifecycle documentation (FAT, SAT, IOQ, PQ) for equipment, utilities, facilities, cleaning processes, shipping systems, and other GMP‑regulated assets. • Support validation activities for internal and client tech transfer projects, including authoring, executing, reviewing, and closing validation documents such as risk assessments, validation plans, IQ, OQ, PQ, test methods, and validation reports. • Write, review, and revise qualification and verification documents, including SOPs, master validation plans, execution plans, URS, FRS, design specifications, FAT documentation, verification protocols, and commissioning test procedures. • Prepare summary reports for validation, verification, commissioning, and requalification activities. • Develop and support procedures, investigations, protocols, reports, and change controls for Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality functions. • Perform P&ID walkdowns to verify installation and system readiness. • Conduct thermal mapping of temperature‑controlled chambers, warehouses, and SIP processes. • Support resolution of regulatory observations, audit findings, and manufacturing site issues related to validation. • Perform periodic reviews and requalification activities for temperature‑controlled systems and other validated assets.

• Work within a full-stack team of engineers to develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines, backend services, and APIs for data-driven features like recommendations, content discovery, groups, and events in VRChat. • Design and implement data models and schemas that support both analytical needs and real-time recommendation systems. • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to ensure the correct data is captured, processed, and available to power meaningful user experiences. • Implement and maintain data processing jobs using big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka) to handle large-scale datasets. • Contribute to the evolution of our technical and product capabilities, helping to progress from simple heuristics to more sophisticated, data-backed personalization for content and experiences. • Participate in the design and implementation of backend systems including REST and websocket APIs, caching systems, queueing systems, and cloud orchestration. • Be available to occasionally jump into action to solve an outage.

• Work within a full-stack team to develop, implement, and maintain new features for the VRChat platform and operational team. • Focus on enhancing safety systems, building the UI/UX and backend systems for support, moderation, and safety operations, with consideration for cost and user privacy. • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers across the stack to translate product and design vision into functional code through informed tradeoffs and accurate estimates. • Contribute to all stages of the feature lifecycle, from initial concept and prototyping to deployment and post-launch iteration and maintenance. • Ensure the usability, stability, reliability, and performance of critical moderation and safety services, participating in on-call rotations as needed. • Participate in code reviews to maintain a high bar for code quality, architectural integrity, performance, and reliability while spreading knowledge across the team.
