In this role you will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO: - Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers - Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation - Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them. - Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: - 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years within a pre-sales environment - Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos. - Broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies. For example, Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric - Hands-on expertise with SQL,SQL analytics, and Python. - Possesses a proactive curiosity for the AI landscape, striving to be a visionary and technical thought partner for customers navigating the space. - Ability to connect a customer’s specific business problems and Snowflake’s solutions - Ability to do deep discovery of customer’s architecture framework and connect those with Snowflake Data Architecture. - University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred. • Partnering with a Sales Account Executive to engage in technical discussions with customers throughout the buying lifecycle. • Working cross functionally with product marketing, and independently, to create and deliver high fidelity presentations, custom demos, sample solutions, and present use cases to guide the customer through the buying journey • Closely partnering with customers and platform builders to solve technical and business challenges which enables them to design, build and implement Crossplane and Upbound Cloud based control plane architectures. • Working directly with customers and platform builders to define, implement, and test out early proof of concepts of Crossplane and Upbound Cloud. • Collect detailed customer requirements so product and engineering can accurately estimate and resource the necessary implementation services. • The technical voice and trusted advisor to the customer and represent the customer needs internally. • Project manage the account pre and post sale to ensure a smooth and frictionless customer experience through implementation in partnership with Solutions Architect and implementation teams.

• Closely partner with the Upbound pre sales team to transition customers to and through a smooth post sales implementation. • Deeply understand customer environments and requirements, identifying their platform needs, and designing architecture and solutions that delight. • Ensure successful adoption of Upbound and Crossplane technology into customer production environments. • Perform technical discovery to scope customer engagements and contribute to authoring Statements of Work. • Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges relating to the implementation phase of deploying Crossplane and Upbound Cloud based control plane architectures into their production environments. • Solve problems and improve customer deployments by writing code, fixing bugs, and building scoped features within Upbound products, the provider ecosystem, and the Crossplane core code base. • Build and maintain a set of cloud native "reference platforms" that will help accelerate adoption and position Crossplane and Upbound as a central piece of the cloud native landscape. Ubuntu and CentoOS/RHEL mainly. - Excellent understanding and implementation experience of the cloud ecosystem i.e. what solutions exist on the 3 major clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and when/how to use those components - Excellent understanding and implementation experience with containers and container based orchestration frameworks.
