Drive execution of key CAS initiatives to achieve Group, OU and Regional level goals. Maximize regional personnel performance by managing, developing and motivating clinical support employees to deliver unsurpassed patient care, physician/AHP support and technical expertise in the hospital, and other care settings. This position will require up to 50% travel within their dedicated territory We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role. Primary Responsibilities Clinical Support Leadership - Lead all regional clinical support related activities and programs to efficiently optimize resources, deliver customer value and deliver exceptional clinical guidance - Partners with sales team to drive key clinical support initiatives and provide assessments via periodic business reviews that highlight the value of Medtronic ablation clinical support to our customers - Work with regional leadership to align resources based on business priorities and appropriate clinical support demands - Lead and drive changes focused on strengthening of EP acumen, prioritization of understanding and implementation of expanded EP ablation solutions to the customer, and customer engagement - Collaborate with sales team and additional key stakeholders to coordinate and execute strategies to achieve ablation solution expansion business objectives People Management - Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to direct reports; provides regular performance reviews and implements corrective actions where necessary. - Leads regional Clinical Specialists to execute on key goals and objectives - Assist employees with goal setting, performance reviews, and individual development planning (IDP’s). - Responsible Clinical Specialist recruiting and hiring. Continually work to maintain a strong, diverse bench of Clinical Specialist talent for future hiring opportunities. Sales Support - Understands national, regional and territory sales objectives. Works in partnership with account managers and CAS Regional Manager to achieve/ exceed goals - Serves as effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support - Promotes the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Business Operations - Business Discipline: Sales support, MPX reports, credentialing, expense management, data privacy, warranty credits - Ensure efficient, effective use of inventory, expenses and assets Technical Support/ Clinical Support - Represents Medtronic CAS during ablations procedures to provide clinical guidance, technical assistance, and customer engagement - Receives technical inquiries by customers and team. Researches and supports resolution for solutions to questions or problems Educational Support - Partner with education team and internal resources to facilitate and lead the training of new and tenured field personnel - Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on CAS products and procedures. (e.g. one-on-one training sessions, in-service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums) - Supports and provides training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience. Territory: Boca Raton POSITION SUMMARY The Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) is responsible for account sales, service, and support activities of all Oncology products within an assigned geography. Required Qualifications: Education - Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field plus a minimum of five years’ experience working in a community mental health program. Licensure - The Licensed Outpatient Clinical Supervisor must maintain a current, unrestricted valid California License from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). - Must have held that license for at least two (2) years and practiced psychotherapy or directly supervised trainees, interns, or associates that perform clinical services and/or psychotherapy as part of their clinical practice for at least two years within the last five-year period immediately preceding supervision. - Must have completed a minimum of six (6) hours of supervision training or coursework within two (2) years immediately preceding supervision (or within 60 days of commencement of supervision) and every renewal period thereafter in order to supervise Associate Marriage and Family therapists (AMFT) or trainees (MFTT) - Must have completed a minimum of 15 contact hours in supervision training prior to the commencement of supervision required for supervisors of Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASW’s). - Must provide documentation of completion for both the 6-hour and 15-hour courses that must be taken through an accredited or approved school, a state agency, or an approved Continuing Education Provider. A course taken through an on-line approved provider will also be accepted. - Supervision will consist of individual, triadic and group formats. Residential/Outpatient Requirements: - Must have at least two years of experience in community behavioral health setting working with Dual Diagnosis/Specialty Mental Health populations. - Experience providing Medi-Cal services and working knowledge of CalAIM documentation standards, CQRT processes, and county behavioral health requirements. - Experience providing constructive, timely feedback identifying strengths and areas of development to practitioners. - Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Electronic Health Record (E.H.R.) systems. Essential Functions/Skills: - Ability to utilize analysis, objectivity, and clinical judgement to make informed decisions. - Familiarity and ease working with issues related to homelessness, substance abuse, mental health diagnosis, and history of trauma. - A seasoned clinician/administrator who is skillful at training, coaching, and mentoring multidisciplinary staff. - Ensuring accuracy and quality of clinical documentation in accordance with regulations and best practices with note review. - Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics. - Demonstrate ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and clinical excellence. - Must willingly show interest in learning and understanding different perspectives, as well as show self-awareness around race, gender, class, sexual orientation, lived experience and other important attributes. - Ensure supervisee’s meet all licensure, registration, and documentation requirements by reviewing and co-signing all required clinical documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance with Medi-Cal, Alameda County, and agency policies. - Maintain supervision records and ensure timely signing of supervisee’s hours. - Maintain adherence to confidentiality and reporting laws, upholds HIPAA standards, and ensures awareness and prevention of Medi-Cal fraud, waste, and abuse. - Participate in CQRT and other internal or county clinical review processes if requested. Ensure client documentation is accurate and submitted within the established time frame. - Identify staff training needs and ensure development and implementation of programs that address needs, participate in delivering training sessions to meet the needs of staff related to clinical/program. - Overseeing and reviewing practitioners' work procedures and compliance with policies and procedures. - Counseling, motivating and disciplining practitioners, and referring advanced issues to upper management. - Provide feedback as it relates to the evaluation process of the practitioners. - Assisting practitioners by supervising complex cases. - Assisting practitioners with the integration of diversity, equity and inclusion perspectives regarding the delivery of clinical services. - Supervisor will sign off on supervisee’s hours weekly and /or no less often than monthly. - Keep current with legal and regulatory requirements for clinical supervision. - Crisis intervention and consultation as needed. - Attend meetings as requested to support clinicians or the team. - Perform other duties as assigned.
