Client Services Intern, Baseball
Wasserman
• Support the Senior Director, Marketing and Special Services with various tasks • Conduct marketing/companies of interest outreach as directed • Create and edit excel spreadsheets to track various progress of deals, endorsements, and player information • Create and track calendered dates for player appearances/player signings • Research potential marketing/endorsement opportunities for current clients • Assist with various client service needs including restaurant reservations, hotel reservations, housing, equipment, and other needs as they arrive • Assist in organizing client data to excel the client service and marketing efforts • Assist with holiday gift ideas, award gifts, etc. • Various administrative duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Degree currently in progress, preferably majoring in a sports-related field
- Applicants must be organized, self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic.
- Applicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skills.
- Applicants should have an interest in sports business and sales/marketing as well as be eager to learn about and contribute to the marketing and endorsement efforts of professional athletes by cold calling and other communication skills.
- Applicants with sales, marketing, business development and cold calls experience are strongly preferred.
- Well-developed communication, organizational and time management skills, as well as basic administrative skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Displays indications of being loyal and trustworthy with the organization and clients
- Must be able to earn college credit for an internship
