Job Description General Function The Solutions Engineer demonstrates the technical, functional, and practical application of Momentive products to meet customer needs. This includes researching customer requirements, tailoring demonstrations, documenting technical needs, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a seamless evaluation experience. The SE contributes to product feedback loops, supports internal teams, and helps prospects visualize value through thoughtful solution design. Duties & Responsibilities - Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations across the Momentive portfolio, with an emphasis on MIP Fund Accounting and related solutions. - Collaborate with Sales to understand customer requirements, financial, operational, technical, and provide expert solution guidance. - Translate complex workflows into clear and relatable product demonstrations. - Maintain deep expertise in product functionality, add-on modules, integrations, and key competitive solutions. - Coordinate demo activities including scheduling, environment preparation, and data setup. - Participate in RFP responses and address technical questions from prospects. - Troubleshoot demo environment issues, maintain data accuracy, and assist in testing new product features. - Document customer feedback and relay insights to Product and Engineering teams. - Support customer escalations and internal troubleshooting as needed. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Experience - 2–4 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineering, accounting software support, or nonprofit financial operations. - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, information systems, or related field. - Preferred Experience - Strong understanding of nonprofit fund accounting concepts (e.g., restricted vs. unrestricted funds, grant tracking, budget controls, audit readiness, compliance requirements). - Experience with MIP Fund Accounting or competing nonprofit financial systems (e.g., Blackbaud Financial Edge, Sage Intacct, AccuFund). - Familiarity with related systems or functional areas: - Grant Management - Payroll / HRIS / HRMS / HCM - Time & Attendance - Budget Management - Requisition / Purchase Order / Procurement workflows - Fundraising / Donor Management Systems - Learning Management Systems (LMS) - Experience supporting or working within nonprofit, association, health center, local government, municipality, Native Nation, or K–12 environments. Technical Skills - Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Ability to learn and master new software quickly. - Familiarity with financial software, reporting tools, and integrations. Other Skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities. - Customer-first mindset and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Working Conditions - Normal office environment with extended periods of computer usage. - Occasional travel may be required. An overview of this role As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be a trusted advisor to GitLab prospects and customers in the Seattle area, helping them understand how GitLab’s DevSecOps platform addresses both technical requirements and business objectives across the entire software development lifecycle. The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for the successful integration of new client offices from assessment through deployment and handoff. This is a highly hands-on, heavily traveling role that serves as the technical lead for new office buildouts and integrations. The engineer will assess client environments, develop equipment recommendations, and execute onsite deployments of network, PC, and server infrastructure. Working closely with internal teams and onsite client resources (“boots on the ground”), this role manages office integrations to completion while ensuring consistency with client standards and best practices. This role requires frequent and sometimes extended travel to client sites, including overnight and weekend stays.
