How you will make an impact: - Collaborates with other health professionals to improve the health of members. - Provides instructions to members on the use of inhalers, breathing techniques, Bipaps, and peak flow meters, as well as prevention techniques to reduce medical issues. - Coaches members to make positive health changes with specialized health education focused on Asthma and COPD population. Minimum Requirements: - Requires AS in Respiratory Therapy and minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. - Current Respiratory Care Professional license required. - NBRC credentialing required. - American Association of Respiratory Care registration required. Preferred Experiences, Skills and Capabilities: - BA/BS preferred. - Telephonic experience strongly preferred. - Experience with DME strongly preferred.
