Overview We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-driven Senior Manager, Performance Marketing & Media to lead the strategy, investment planning, and optimization of large-scale digital media programs in a regulated healthcare environment. This role is responsible for full-funnel media strategy, cross-channel integration, and performance outcomes across paid search, paid social, video, programmatic, and emerging platforms. As a senior leader within Marketing, you will own media investment strategy and allocation, oversee agency and platform partners, and ensure that performance marketing drives efficient patient acquisition while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare advertising regulations. You will serve as the subject matter expert for paid media strategy, working cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Analytics, Compliance, Operations, and Finance to align media investments with enterprise growth objectives, CAC targets, and long-term brand equity. Responsibilities Strategic Media Leadership & Investment Planning - Own the full-funnel paid media strategy across Google, Bing, Meta, YouTube, OLV, programmatic, and emerging channels - Develop annual and quarterly media investment plans aligned to business growth goals and patient acquisition targets - Lead marketing mix strategy and channel allocation decisions to optimize upper-, mid-, and lower-funnel performance - Manage and forecast 8-figure annual media budgets with accountability for pacing, efficiency, and return on investment - Establish CAC, ROAS, LTV, and contribution margin targets in partnership with Finance and Analytics Performance Optimization & Execution Oversight - Oversee campaign architecture, audience strategy, creative testing frameworks, and bid strategy across platforms - Ensure continuous optimization of campaigns to meet or exceed performance goals - Guide testing roadmaps across creative, audience segmentation, landing pages, and channel mix - Monitor daily/weekly pacing and proactively mitigate performance or compliance risks Outside Media & Agency Management - Manage external agencies, DSP partners, and ad tech vendors as needed, holding them accountable to performance KPIs - Evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance efficiency and attribution accuracy - Lead contract, scope, and evaluation of media partners Analytics, Attribution & Reporting - Partner with Analytics to refine attribution models, incrementality testing, and media measurement frameworks - Translate complex performance data into actionable insights and executive-ready reporting - Develop dashboards and reporting cadence for leadership visibility - Identify performance trends and make strategic recommendations to scale growth Cross-Functional Leadership & Compliance - Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams to ensure integrated campaign execution - Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure adherence to: - Platform advertising policies - Healthcare advertising regulations - Privacy and data protection standards (e.g., HIPAA where applicable) - Act as a key stakeholder in go-to-market planning for new services, markets, and growth initiatives Qualifications - 7-10+ years of experience in digital media, performance marketing, or paid media strategy - Demonstrated success managing 8-figure annual media investments - Deep expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, and programmatic/OLV platforms - Proven experience developing full-funnel media strategies across awareness, consideration, and conversion - Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, LTV, and unit economics in growth marketing - Experience managing agencies, DSPs, or ad tech partners - Advanced analytics and reporting experience using Power BI, Google Analytics, or similar platforms - Strong proficiency in Excel and performance forecasting models Leadership Competencies - Strategic thinker with strong business acumen - Executive-level communication and storytelling skills - Data-driven decision maker with financial rigor - Highly accountable and proactive in a remote environment - Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority - Detail-oriented and compliance-conscious Preferred Qualifications - Experience in multi-location or distributed service-based businesses - Experience leading marketing mix modeling or multi-channel investment allocation decisions - Prior experience in healthcare, health services, pharma, or regulated industries - Familiarity with healthcare advertising compliance and privacy frameworks - Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-market organizations Why Join Us - Senior-level ownership over enterprise media strategy and investment - Opportunity to influence growth at scale in a regulated, mission-driven healthcare environment - Direct visibility to executive leadership - Collaborative, agile Marketing team built on accountability and results - Fully remote with flexibility and autonomy
