About the Role Phase2 is seeking a Content Architect responsible for designing, governing, and operationalizing content architectures that support modern digital platforms, including AI-enabled experiences. This role ensures client content is structured, reusable, accessible, and trustworthy, enabling scalable delivery across websites, applications, personalization systems, and AI-driven interfaces. By architecting content for both human users and machine learning systems, this role ensures clients capture opportunities across traditional search, generative engine optimization (GEO), and AI-powered experiences. The Content Architect works hands-on with client teams, engineers, data specialists, and delivery leads to translate business and user needs into durable content models, taxonomies, and governance practices that can be implemented and sustained over time. This position reports to: Director, Marketing Services Compensation: Base annual salary of $120,000 - $142,000 What You'll Do - Lead the design of content models, taxonomies, and metadata structures that support modular, reusable, and semantically meaningful content. - Conduct content audits and analysis to inform platform migrations, redesigns, and AI-readiness efforts. - Lead structured data and schema strategy (e.g., Schema.org, provider/location/service entities), ensuring content is optimized for traditional SEO and generative AI discovery (GEO), including AI visibility requirements such as citability, entity clarity, and authority signals. - Own technical SEO considerations related to content architecture, including metadata strategy, structured data coverage, search visibility foundations, and semantic structure. - Define and implement content governance frameworks, including editorial workflows, lifecycle rules, and quality standards. - Ensure content architectures support accessibility (WCAG - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), compliance, and consistency across channels and audiences. - Partner with Engineering and Data teams to ensure content structures are technically implementable within CMSs, APIs, and downstream systems. - Guide clients through content transformation and migration efforts, from strategy through execution, including designing content operations workflows to reduce content and metadata debt and improve system integrity. - Collaborate with Client Orchestrators to align scope, timelines, and delivery expectations. - Provide content architecture direction to delivery teams and mentor less senior content strategists. What You'll Need - Deep experience in content architecture, taxonomy, and governance. - Hands-on delivery experience with CMS-driven platforms and migrations. - Strong collaboration with engineering and delivery teams. - Familiarity with AI-enabled content use cases (semantic search, personalization, automation). - Proven ability to lead complex content workstreams within client engagements. - Demonstrated experience diagnosing and remediating content quality issues at scale, including inconsistent tagging, taxonomy violations, metadata gaps, and redundant content structures. - Strong proficiency working in spreadsheets, structured datasets, system exports, and data normalization tools to support content cleanup, transformation, and migration workflows. - Strong working knowledge of technical SEO and structured data implementation, with experience using SEO platforms to diagnose and improve content visibility. - Experience defining structured data and schema strategies for SEO and AI visibility (e.g., Schema.org, JSON-LD, entity modeling). This position reports to the Senior Director, Project Control, or another senior management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management. All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies. This opportunity requires flexibility to support travel to multiple projects in various geographical regions, with an expectation to travel up to 30% of the year.   RESPONSIBILITIES - This role requires both directly performing and managing external resources to perform the duties listed below in the US. - Develop and progressively elaborate on capital expenditure estimates for project execution costs (engineering, procurement, and construction) for Solar and BESS projects under development through preconstruction.  This includes the following: - Upon initial project screening and evaluation, develop conceptual/parametric cost estimates based on engineering input, historical cost data, and current market trends - As projects matures through key milestones, develop master project scopes of work and perform more detailed estimates of CapEx costs. - Once scopes of work require services to execute the work, prepare solicitation packages, statements of work and specification packages for solicitation / negotiation by 3rd parties (Contractors, Suppliers, EPC’s, Consultants, etc).  Perform Contractor/EPC solicitation processes in collaboration with Procurement teams. - Normalize, tender 3rd party responses to solicitations against modeled estimates and master scopes of work.  Provide recommendations to the Company on how to proceed with 3rd party services, particularly EPC / Construction services. - Support contract management, project management teams in negotiating 3rd party contracts. - Support Business Development team by executing estimating tasks noted above, as well as providing initial engineering/constructability reviews: - Site evaluation, - Review of project documents including site and environmental studies - Identify mitigation to potential project risks to determine the feasibility of the project. - Develop due diligence memos with recommendations on actions to reduce both technical and business risk - Assist the Business Development team in preparing sales and offer documents to project sellers and other parties as required. - Conduct site visits as necessary to perform constructability diligence on behalf of the engineering, project management and construction management teams. - Develop and maintain internal project cost databases, extracting past project cost data in support of developing future cost estimates - Develop and maintain external cost databases and market trends in support of forecasting risk and refining future cost estimates. - Assists Engineering, Project Controls, and PM/CM team in researching, assessing, and analyzing 3rd party EPC/Contractor capabilities as required by assessing construction production rates, project management capabilities, and engineering / preconstruction capabilities.  Incorporate known capabilities and limits especially from affiliate partners into future project planning. - Confirm equipment specifications including bill of materials / bill of quantities for the Balance of System scopes, especially ones developed by 3rd parties. - Support Procurement Team in their assessment, solicitation, and recommendations of key material equipment procurement.
