We are proud to serve as the parent company of: - Hanwha Renewables – specializing in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) - Chariot Energy – providing retail electricity services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in deregulated markets POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a detailed-oriented and finance-savvy Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and battery storage (BESS) projects across North America. This role is responsible for managing projects from Substantial Completion (SC) through Operations, with a strong focus ensuring financial optimization and operational efficiency, maintaining compliance with financing structures, and driving value creation across the asset lifecycle. The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management. All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies. RESPONSIBILITIES Financial & P&L Management - Manage renewable energy projects from Substantial Completion through operation to sale, ensuring alignment with project financing agreements (LLC Agreement, Credit Agreement, Depository agreement etc.). - Monitor and optimize project-level cash flow; manage timely and accurate cash distributions to tax equity investors and project sponsors. - Administer back-leverage loans including DSCR tracking, covenant reporting, and waterfall tracking. - Serve as the primary point of contact with financing parties, including tax equity and lenders, coordinate capital calls, compliance reporting, and quarterly financial deliverables. - Track and analyze tax equity flip schedules, ensuring consistency with partnership agreements and financial models. - Summarize key provisions and decision points in financing agreements (e.g. LLCA, Credit Agreement) for internal use. - Manage Depository Agreements and Certificates for release of funds. - Review project budgets vs. actuals, identify variance and recommend corrective actions. - Prepare and deliver project performance updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders, including financial institutions, investors, and partners. - Review P/L and support the accounting team with audits, monthly close, financial reporting. Operations & Asset Management - Lead project onboarding and handover from Construction to Operations, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition. - Track project obligation and ongoing compliance under major project agreements, including PPAs, Interconnection Agreements, Leases, and related contracts. - Support the negotiation, execution, and ongoing management of operational contracts, including O&M Agreements (O&M), Shared Facility Agreements (SFA), and Asset Management Agreements (AMA). - Partner closely with the operation team to evaluate asset performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive operational excellence. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in finance, Engineering, Economics or related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus - 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or financial asset management - Strong understanding of project finance, tax equity structures, and renewable energy operations - Advances Excel and financial modeling skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities - Highly organized and capable of managing multiples priorities in a fast-paced environment COMPENSATION: $140,000 - $175,000 salary Attention external recruitment firms, we will not accept any unsolicited resumes at this time. Initially, it is expected that the Senior Corporate Counsel will primarily support the company’s Data Center business unit. The Senior Corporate Counsel is responsible for providing legal expertise in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of infrastructure projects, in particular data centers, solar energy and energy storage projects. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be a part of a dynamic, collaborative team and work closely with other departments within the company (such as project development, permitting, business development, engineering, and construction). The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management. All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies. This position reports to the General Counsel or another senior leader. This position is expected to travel up to 10%. Our main corporate office is located in Houston, TX. This position reports to the Senior Director, Project Control, or another senior management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management. All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies. This opportunity requires flexibility to support travel to multiple projects in various geographical regions, with an expectation to travel up to 30% of the year. RESPONSIBILITIES - This role requires both directly performing and managing external resources to perform the duties listed below in the US. - Develop and progressively elaborate on capital expenditure estimates for project execution costs (engineering, procurement, and construction) for Solar and BESS projects under development through preconstruction. This includes the following: - Upon initial project screening and evaluation, develop conceptual/parametric cost estimates based on engineering input, historical cost data, and current market trends - As projects matures through key milestones, develop master project scopes of work and perform more detailed estimates of CapEx costs. - Once scopes of work require services to execute the work, prepare solicitation packages, statements of work and specification packages for solicitation / negotiation by 3rd parties (Contractors, Suppliers, EPC’s, Consultants, etc). Perform Contractor/EPC solicitation processes in collaboration with Procurement teams. - Normalize, tender 3rd party responses to solicitations against modeled estimates and master scopes of work. Provide recommendations to the Company on how to proceed with 3rd party services, particularly EPC / Construction services. - Support contract management, project management teams in negotiating 3rd party contracts. - Support Business Development team by executing estimating tasks noted above, as well as providing initial engineering/constructability reviews: - Site evaluation, - Review of project documents including site and environmental studies - Identify mitigation to potential project risks to determine the feasibility of the project. - Develop due diligence memos with recommendations on actions to reduce both technical and business risk - Assist the Business Development team in preparing sales and offer documents to project sellers and other parties as required. - Conduct site visits as necessary to perform constructability diligence on behalf of the engineering, project management and construction management teams. - Develop and maintain internal project cost databases, extracting past project cost data in support of developing future cost estimates - Develop and maintain external cost databases and market trends in support of forecasting risk and refining future cost estimates. - Assists Engineering, Project Controls, and PM/CM team in researching, assessing, and analyzing 3rd party EPC/Contractor capabilities as required by assessing construction production rates, project management capabilities, and engineering / preconstruction capabilities. Incorporate known capabilities and limits especially from affiliate partners into future project planning. - Confirm equipment specifications including bill of materials / bill of quantities for the Balance of System scopes, especially ones developed by 3rd parties. - Support Procurement Team in their assessment, solicitation, and recommendations of key material equipment procurement. Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Company Management. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, finance, economics, or construction. - Minimum of 3-5 years of Utility Solar estimating experience - Solid experience and knowledge with renewable energy construction practices, particularly with utility scale Solar and BESS projects. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30% - Solid experience with construction cost estimating practices, including familiarity with how to perform conceptual/parametric estimating, bid tendering, detailed quantity estimating, and change order estimating. - Ability to understand and estimate the following: - Civil construction - Mechanical construction - Electrical construction - Emphasis on DC cabling, MV cabling, Single access PV racking, High voltage and interconnection - Good understanding of Critical Path Scheduling concepts, including familiarity with scheduling tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet. - Demonstrated track record of delivering results. - Ability to interact with senior-level management internally and externally - Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating platforms - Familiarity with data management / data analytics practices very helpful. - High degree of professionalism and conduct at all times - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly - Demonstrated customer focus and strong communication skills - Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization - Data-based decision-making, results oriented - Critical and strategic thinking skills - Prior estimation software such as Heavy Bid, AccuBid, Inteli Bid or others a plus COMPENSATION: $150,000 - $185,000 salary Attention external recruitment firms, we will not accept any unsolicited resumes at this time.
