Technical Lead – SPM

• Lead the technical and functional delivery of Salesforce SPM implementations, including Sales Planning, crediting, quotas, attainment, and performance tracking. • Translate client business requirements into scalable and maintainable SPM solution designs and configurations. • Design and govern SPM data models, including transactions, credits, participants, and time periods. • Lead data rationalization, transformation, and loading from upstream systems such as Sales Cloud, CPQ, ERP, or billing platforms. • Own complex attribution, crediting, quota, and period-alignment logic to ensure accurate and explainable results. • Perform technical and solution reviews to ensure scalability, accuracy, and long-term maintainability. • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Sales Operations, Finance, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes. • Serve as Release Manager for SPM workstreams, owning deployment strategy, execution, and environment management. • Manage source control, review and merge pull requests, and execute deployments to production with rollback support as needed. • Coach and mentor junior SPM consultants and technical team members.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of Salesforce implementation experience, with hands-on delivery of Salesforce SPM or Sales Planning solutions.
- Strong understanding of SPM concepts including crediting, quotas, attainment, and performance measurement.
- Experience working with complex datasets, including data transformation, reconciliation, and period-based logic.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile complex data sets.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SPM configurations and solution designs.
- Experience collaborating with Sales Operations, Finance, and technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a delivery environment.
