Role Description - Review and Draft AutoCAD Drawings, including – signal & power flow, mechanical, elevation, presets & layouts - Work with Planar Sales team to define scope of project and details to provide accurate drawings - Revise drawings as needed as project changes/grows - Support the Design Team with additional tasks such providing updates internally & externally, data configuration, short-term objectives Qualifications - Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and decision-making skills are essential - Ability to learn Planar products and uses quickly – previous knowledge a plus! - Familiarity with SharePoint and systems related to SharePoint like Power Automate & Power Flow - Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate appropriate information to customers and team members in a professional manner - Ability to apply critical thinking skills and natural curiosity to the investigative and problem-solving process by extracting and analyzing relevant information from various systems and drawing accurate conclusions to resolve issues - Demonstrated strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated ability as a self-starter able to work effectively in a team environment - Mental ability to conduct on-going interpersonal interactions, analyze and solve problems essential - Ability to actively participate in team development and team-oriented processes - Physical ability to use computer hardware/software required - Associate’s degree in engineering, architecture, drafting, modeling or similar or equivalent experience - Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D Drafting & Design – 1 year of professional experience minimum, more preferred - Revit experience preferred - Autodesk Vault experience preferred - SolidWorks or Autodesk 3D modeling experience preferred - Previous experience using a personal computer with a Windows operating system required - Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, and skills including the ability to analyze data using Excel and report on it to various audiences - CRM (Customer Relation Management) system experience preferred, particularly Salesforce Requirements - Work either In-Office or from home, frequent Teams meetings with manager & other parties - M-F, 8-hour days, generally 7am-4pm Benefits - All benefits start on first day of employment! - 75% employer-paid medical for employee. • Develop detailed structural designs for buildings, bridges, industrial structures, and other construction projects using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. • Create structural models and drawings that accurately reflect engineering calculations and project requirements. • Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. • Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and practical. • Conduct preliminary and detailed structural analysis using tools such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or other structural analysis software. • Review and verify that all structural drawings are accurate, complete, and adhere to project standards. • Identify potential issues in designs and suggest improvements to enhance structural integrity.

• Design premium brochures for advanced machines and identity systems • Develop website layouts and visual concepts (in collaboration with developers) • Create product renders integration layouts and visual storytelling materials • Ensure consistent branding across all materials • Translate technical content into visually engaging layouts • Work closely with leadership and engineering teams to understand products • Prepare files for print and digital distribution
