Primary Responsibilities - Provide technical support on network and cabling issues - Support the LAN and WAN infrastructure, remote sites and data centers. - Troubleshoot network and cabling problems and coordinate with the various department administrators to facilitate troubleshooting efforts - Participate in lab configuration and testing of new technologies - Prepare network topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance plans and provide status reports as required - Participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks Qualifications - 7+ years experience in a Network Engineering role - 3+ years experience of Cisco ISE and/or Aruba wireless and Clearpass - Routers and Switches hands-on experience - Ability to communicate designs and network concepts to a variety of audiences, including peers and customers, verbally and in writing - Experience configuring and running firewalls is preferred - Experience with Fortinet firewalls - Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocol/technologies - Experience with Wireless networks implementation and support, preferrable Aruba - General understanding of project management processes and terminology - Ability to multitask and set priorities - Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is desirable Background check / Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
