Job Title: Sr Director of Statistical Analysis Location: Remote/Hybrid Department:  Data Science Reports To: CEO Job Summary: The Sr Director of Statistical Analysis is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the statistical strategy, methodology, and integrity across all analytic projects. This individual will lead a team of statisticians and data scientists, ensure the application of rigorous statistical principles, and work crossfunctionally with business and technical leaders to influence data-driven decision-making at the highest levels. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic direction for the design, execution, and interpretation of statistical analyses across the organization. • Lead and mentor a team of statisticians and quantitative analysts; guide career development, training, and performance management. • Collaborate with executive leadership to define analytics goals, ensure statistical rigor, and prioritize key initiatives. • Oversee the development of advanced statistical models, predictive algorithms, and experimental designs (e.g., A/B testing, multivariate testing). • Act as a subject matter expert on statistical methodology, advising on study design, sample size, and data interpretation. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards where applicable (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, IRB). • Communicate complex statistical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and executive summaries. • Stay abreast of emerging methodologies, technologies, and trends in statistics and data science to drive innovation. Qualifications: • Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. • 10+ years of progressive experience in statistical analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.  • Proven experience managing statistical teams and driving data strategy at a senior level. • Deep knowledge of statistical methods including regression, Bayesian inference, multivariate analysis, and experimental design. • Proficiency in statistical software and languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS, STATA). • Strong business acumen with the ability to align analytical work with strategic objectives.
