Newsletter Editor
Copper Courier
• Writing and curating content for a regional newsletter • Collaborating with newsletter department leaders to market and grow subscriber lists • Using audience feedback and engagement metrics to refine content strategy • Producing presenter-led videos and other multimedia content for social platforms • Analyzing audience data for optimizations • Leading initiatives to understand the audience through surveys
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of audience-centered reporting in the Houston metro
- Experience in newsletter writing, editing, or production, ideally in a newsroom or media organization
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with using email analytics and performance metrics
- Experience using an email service provider such as Mailchimp, Substack, or similar tools
- Willingness to be on camera
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Capcut, Descript to support social content production
- Ability to manage multiple editorial projects in a fast-paced environment
