Director – Campaigns
Chamber of Progress
• Direct the organization’s advocacy campaigns on state and federal legislation and regulatory issues • Lead coordination with partner companies, internal team members, and external vendors • Oversee the organization’s advertising, polling, grassroots, grasstops, and digital advocacy campaigns • Supervisor outside vendors and service providers • Supervise local grasstops activities • Track and manage campaign budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources • Develop an intimate understanding of the federal, state, and local political landscape surrounding our policy priorities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Director: Minimum of 5 years of post-college work experience
- Senior Director: Minimum of 10 years of post-college work experience
- Aggressive mindset and bias toward action
- Prior experience driving policy, advocacy, or public affairs campaigns that led to desired political, legislative, or electoral results
- Experience in government, Democratic politics, or progressive causes
- Experience managing and tracking political campaign budgets
- Outstanding writing abilities; must be a creative, succinct, and fast writer
- Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and organizational skills
- Experience in managing political giving / advertising programs a plus
- Remote location okay; must be located within the continental U.S.
