HJ Staffing is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Application Developer to join our growing team. This is an ideal role for an early-career developer including recent graduates or those with internship experience who is eager to work on enterprise-level applications and gain hands-on experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC). As part of our team, you’ll work in a collaborative environment, building and maintaining Windows-based applications while leveraging modern DevOps practices. What You Will Do - Full SDLC Participation: Contribute to the design, development, unit/load testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications. - Application Building: Build and enhance Windows-based applications. - System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain existing applications, identifying and fixing errors and improving overall system performance. - Modern Deployment: Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines to deploy code across various environments. - Collaborative Development: Partner closely with Business Analysts and QA teams to ensure all code aligns with business requirements and quality standards. What You Will Bring - Experience: 0–2 years of .NET development experience (internships and academic projects are highly valued). - Core Tech Stack: Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET (MVC/WebForms), and WPF. - Backend & Data: Hands-on experience with WCF services, LINQ-to-SQL, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework. - Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL Server, including the ability to enhance and debug SQL queries. - Tools: Familiarity with Visual Studio. - Foundational Skills: A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and basic debugging/unit testing. You Will Be Successful If: - You are a proactive problem-solver with a high attention to detail. - You thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple tasks under pressure. - You enjoy collaboration and have strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. - You are familiar with (or eager to learn) Agile practices and task tracking through ADO boards. - You have a continuous learning mindset and are ready to adapt to enterprise-level standards.
