Job Summary: The Associate Engineer will be part of a team of experts who are responsible for handling network support, problem management, managing network performance and proactively identifying issues before they impact the customer’s network. The Associate Engineer provides technical support providing the first point of contact to the customer, creating tickets and routing requests. Key Responsibilities: · First point of contact with customer cultivating customer relationship and customer satisfaction. · Proactive network monitoring network relating to system performance impairments and hardware/software faults. · Respond to network alarms and events in a timely fashion. · Perform triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events. · Driving internal process management through issue support and resolving customer issues. · Process tickets which may include escalations, alarms, incidents and service requests reported by monitoring tools, ticketing portals, calls, and emails. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Basic understanding in network design. · Strong verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional ability to listen and interpret. · Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to take direction. · Ability to work well in team environment. · Knowledge of network. · Ability to prioritize daily workflow. · Ability to communicate effectively to both customers and team members. · Ability to plan and be proactive in approach, must possess the ability to solve problems. · Ability to read, analyze, and interpret applicable technical documentation, system reports, software licenses and contracts. · All other duties as assigned. · Primary point of contact with customer cultivating customer relationship and customer satisfaction. · Ability to reason and accurately assess problems, establish fact patterns, and draw valid conclusions. · Ability to understand how customers are leveraging information through their downstream process and systems. · Mitigating errors on the networks GDT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. The Quantitative Researcher will take ownership of end-to-end quantitative workflows—setting up and maintaining reproducible analytic environments, managing and quality-checking complex datasets, reviewing and strengthening junior analysts’ code, and leading inferential modeling tasks spanning both causal (e.g., experimental and quasi-experimental designs) and non-causal (e.g., descriptive, predictive, and explanatory) analyses.
