Job Description

Training Specialist II

Advarra

• Conduct professional training events for customers and internal employees • Demonstrate expertise in Advarra software products and understanding of industry best practices • Develop and update training presentations, assessments, study guides, job aids, and reference materials • Conduct organizational-wide training needs assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps • Gather trainee feedback after education sessions • Conduct in-person and web-based training events • Collaborate with the LMS Administrator to maintain training materials, eLearning modules, and courses in the LMS • Perform basic user access troubleshooting in Advarra University • Monitor Advarra community platforms to identify new practices, knowledge gaps, and training opportunities • Collaborate with the eLearning team to develop, review, and update eLearning modules • Maintain attendance records and assessment and retraining results • Interact professionally and promptly with customers via phone, Zoom, or email • Perform other assigned job-related duties

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of training experience
  • Experience conducting effective and comprehensive training for software or other technical tools
  • Experience conducting virtual training using tools such as Zoom, Adobe Connect, or Teams
  • Experience confidently delivering training virtually and in a traditional classroom setting
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Dedication to professional development and staying current with industry trends
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective listening, writing, and speaking skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including templates, styles, and fields
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a stationary workstation
  • Ability to regularly carry, raise, and lower objects up to 10 lbs
  • Ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Ability to focus attention on tasks and responsibilities
