You will work with a team of data scientists and economists with advanced domain expertise. Our startup is small and growing quickly, with enormous potential for growth. What we're looking for: Revelio Labs is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer with strong experience building data-driven web applications using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and D3.js. The candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of product features from UI design to collaborating on API communication that enhance the end-user experience while thinking about taking the technical architecture to the next level of maturity. This candidate needs to have confidence to take the initiative to make their own decisions with the support of our team when needed and be able to deliver to production while keeping our products stable. Experience and Skills: - Comprehensive Web Application Skills: 5+ years of in-depth expertise building data-driven web applications with React, TypeScript, D3.js, GraphQL, and Node.JS. Candidates should be comfortable creating complex, interactive web applications. - Self-Starter: Someone who can independently take lead on high-level projects and communicate effectively to solve problems. - Testing and Stability: Experience in automated testing and application stability. Writing end-to-end tests, specifically with Playwright, is desirable. - Technical Complexity: Ability to work in a technically complex codebase and make decisions on refactoring to produce more stable and maintainable code. - Data Visualization and D3: Comfortable creating complex and interactive data visualizations using D3. - API Design: Working with backend engineers to define efficient api schema that support our front-end applications, using GraphQL and REST. - Bonus Skills: Experience with Redux/State Management, RxJS, and knowledge of Kubernetes are a plus. Location: Our offices are based in New York City, but the position can be done remotely. Candidates must be willing and able to work core US hours. Salary: The pay range for this position in New York City is $150,000 - $200,000+ per year. The salary range for performing this role outside of New York City may differ. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in our company’s equity program, plus benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other.
