Job Description

VP of Finance & Corporate Development

Girls Inc. Of Greater Miami

The Role The VP of Finance & Corporate Development is a strategic, execution-oriented leader responsible for overseeing Linktree’s global finance organization end-to-end. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will steward the company’s financial strategy, operational rigor, and capital allocation initiatives as we scale our consumer and B2B SaaS business globally. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of 10+ across Strategic Finance (including FP&A) and FinOps (including Controllership, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, AR/AP) along with primary responsibilities across Corporate Development and Investor Relations. This role requires a leader who combines analytical depth with strong business partnership – someone who can elevate financial discipline while enabling speed, innovation, and growth. You thrive in high-growth environments, bring deep expertise in subscription and consumer internet business models, and operate with both long-term strategic vision and hands-on ownership. What You'll Do - Strategic Finance & Corporate Planning: Own Linktree’s long-range financial model, annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts. Translate company strategy into clear financial targets and investment guardrails. Lead scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to inform executive tradeoffs across growth, profitability, and capital efficiency. Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on business model evolution, pricing strategy, monetization, margin expansion, and global expansion initiatives. - FP&A & Business Partnership: Lead company-wide FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Growth, Operations, and G&A leaders to evaluate ROI, optimize spend, and drive disciplined investment decisions. - Accounting, Controllership & Compliance: Oversee global accounting operations, financial reporting, tax, treasury, payroll, and AR/AP. Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. Critically, you will also drive process automation and systems improvements to increase reporting accuracy, reduce manual workflows, and enhance scalability. - Cash Management & Treasury: Own liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and capital structure strategy. Ensure disciplined management of cash, investments, and financial risk (including FX exposure, interest rates, etc.) - Corporate Development: Partner with executive leadership on M&A evaluation, strategic investments, and partnership economics. Lead financial diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning for inorganic growth opportunities. - Investor Relations & Board Reporting: Partner closely with the CEO on investor engagement and Board communications. Prepare high-quality Board materials that synthesize financial performance, risks, opportunities, and forward outlook. Help shape Linktree’s external financial narrative with clarity and credibility. - Systems & Financial Transformation: Continuously improve financial systems, tooling, and data infrastructure. Leverage automation and AI-first processes to enhance reporting speed, forecasting accuracy, and decision support capabilities. - Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global finance team of 10+. Create clear ownership across functions while fostering collaboration, accountability, and high standards. Recruit and develop top-tier finance talent capable of supporting a rapidly evolving global organization. What You'll Bring - 12-15+ years of progressive finance experience, including early-career training in investment banking, venture capital, or private equity and subsequent senior leadership roles in strategic finance, FP&A, or controllership within high-growth SaaS, consumer internet, or technology companies. - Deep expertise in subscription business models or creator economy dynamics, and B2C SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, CAC/LTV, contribution margin, cohort analysis, etc.). - Strong command of accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting in global, multi-entity environments. - Proven experience leading end-to-end finance organizations, including accounting, tax, treasury, payroll, and AR/AP. - Demonstrated success in long-range planning, capital allocation, cash management, and Board-level reporting. - Experience supporting fundraising, investor relations, M&A, or capital markets initiatives strongly preferred. - Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and familiarity with modern FP&A, ERP and BI systems (e.g., NetSuite, Hex/Looker, Ramp, etc.). - Outstanding executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations. - Entrepreneurial, ownership-driven mindset with a track record of operating effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred. Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $XXX-$XXX for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed. P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out.
