• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue targets within assigned regional territories across the Southeast and Texas. • Manage and grow relationships with enterprise-level key accounts in the passenger services and transportation industry. • Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives to maximize revenue and product adoption within existing customer portfolios. • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and customer success teams. • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback. • Proactively identify and address customer concerns to prevent churn. • Lead complex negotiations and contract discussions with enterprise-level stakeholders. • Leverage geospatial and telematics knowledge to communicate product value.

• Develop and execute territory and account-based sales strategies to achieve new business revenue targets across K-12 and transit fleet organizations • Identify, prospect, and close net-new enterprise opportunities within the passenger services (PAX) market • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, industry networking, and government procurement channels • Lead discovery conversations with senior decision-makers — including transportation directors, operations leaders, superintendents, and municipal stakeholders • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, contracting, and close • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering to align solutions with customer fleet and operational needs • Leverage industry insights and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities within fleet telematics, routing, and compliance solutions • Partner with customer success and account management teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term account growth • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to senior leadership • Travel within the assigned territory as needed to meet with prospective customers and attend industry events
Business Development Representative

• Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, social media, and personalized outreach to generate new sales opportunities. • Follow up on inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, webinars, and content downloads. • Research target companies and contacts to tailor outreach based on industry, fleet size, and operational challenges. • Identify and engage decision-makers and influencers within transportation, maintenance, and operations teams. • Conduct discovery conversations to assess prospect needs, challenges, and fit for Zonar’s telematics solutions. • Clearly communicate Zonar’s value proposition using a consultative, customer-focused approach. • Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives, contributing directly to pipeline growth. • Maintain accurate records of all outreach, conversations, and qualification notes in CRM (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics). • Track and manage leads through the sales funnel to ensure timely follow-up and consistent engagement. • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to align on target accounts, outreach strategies, and qualification criteria. • Partner with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality, campaign performance, and market insights. • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Zonar’s solutions, including ELD compliance, GPS tracking, asset management, and smart fleet tools. • Identify trends, common objections, and messaging effectiveness to help improve outbound strategies, call scripts, and email sequences. • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to position Zonar effectively in conversations. • Participate in sales training, team huddles, and coaching sessions to continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge.
