ABOUT THE ROLE The Manager, Commercial Operations is a connective role on Zerigo’s go-to-market team — spanning sales enablement, client implementation, account management support, and commercial analytics. This person ensures that sellers, channel leaders, and customer success partners have the tools, materials, and insights they need to win and retain business. This role rewards someone who is equally comfortable in a spreadsheet and a slide deck — one day pulling together pipeline data and performance reporting, the next coordinating an implementation launch or building a client presentation. The ideal candidate moves fluidly between analytical and operational work, thrives in a startup environment, and takes pride in making the people around them more effective. CORE DELIVERABLES Sales Enablement & Pre-Sales Support - Develop, maintain, and continuously improve sales materials including pitch decks, proposals, opportunity assessments, and program overviews for prospective clients. - Coordinate and support introductory meetings and presentations with prospective clients, ensuring materials and logistics are prepared and aligned with the sales strategy. - Serve as a central resource for sales enablement content, organizing and managing a library of approved materials accessible to the broader go-to-market team. - Assist in drafting client communications, preparing background research, and ensuring timely follow-up throughout the sales cycle. Implementation & Onboarding Coordination - Develop and manage comprehensive implementation plans for new clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and successful launch. - Quarterback cross-functional implementation workflows, coordinating across clinical, operations, analytics, and client-facing teams to meet launch milestones. - Act as a point of contact during implementation, proactively addressing issues and escalating as needed to ensure client satisfaction. Account Management Enablement - Produce standard content and data packages for monthly and quarterly client business reviews, enabling channel leaders and customer success managers to run high-quality client meetings. - Monitor account performance across the portfolio — tracking utilization, member engagement, and contract KPIs — and surface actionable insights to the team. - Gather client feedback to inform product improvements and operational enhancements, closing the loop with internal stakeholders. Commercial Analytics & Sales Operations - Produce data-driven reports and pipeline analyses to support the go-to-market leader, including funnel summaries, opportunity assessments, and performance tracking. - Lead and facilitate cross-functional deal team approval workflows, ensuring alignment across legal, finance, clinical, and operations prior to deal close. - Manage the contract and agreement process for new business, including coordinating redlines, tracking contract status, and maintaining documentation in Salesforce. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM and project management platforms to ensure visibility into deal status and pending action items. - Support the go-to-market leader with preparation for internal and external meetings, including Board presentations, investor updates, and weekly team reviews. - Identify opportunities to streamline and improve commercial processes, contributing to a more scalable and efficient operation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of professional experience in a sales enablement, sales operations, client success, implementation, or go-to-market operations role, preferably in healthcare or a related field. - Demonstrated ability to develop polished, compelling sales materials and client-facing content independently. - Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously. - Ability to independently pull, analyze, and present data findings to sales leadership in a clear and structured way. - Experience supporting contract management processes and coordinating cross-functional approvals. - Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and comfort with tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. - Dedication to learning and using AI to enhance your insights and storytelling. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of attention to detail. - Proactive, self-directed work style with a track record of operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. Experience navigating the intersection of analytics, sales support, and implementation — and a comfort with building processes from scratch rather than inheriting them — will set candidates apart. The Channel Leader is the person who makes that engine run. This is a hybrid role that demands the commercial instincts of a consultative sales professional, the relationship and financial performance skills of a customer success leader. HOW THIS ROLE WORKS IN PRACTICE A Day in the Life On any given week, you might be co-presenting Zerigo's value proposition (platform summary, clinical and financial outcomes data) alongside a benefits consultant on a call with a large employer — then spending the afternoon reviewing account utilization reports with a national partner to identify at-risk members. You bridge the gap between Zerigo's internal teams and external partners, making sure both sides have what they need to succeed. You are equally credible in a sales conversation and a quarterly business review. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS What We Are Looking For 5–8+ years of experience in consulting, consultative channel sales, partner management, or a hybrid sales/customer success role — ideally within healthcare, benefits, or health plan adjacent industries. Proven track record of driving revenue and managing financial through indirect or channel sales models — not just managing relationships, but actively moving deals forward through partner organizations. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow large, complex national accounts — including regular executive engagement, QBRs, and strategic account planning. Experience working within or alongside benefits distribution channels: TPAs, benefits consultants/brokers, PBMs, or managed care organizations. Strong multi-stakeholder relationship skills — comfortable navigating partner organizations with multiple contact layers and competing priorities. Ability to translate Zerigo's clinical effectiveness and economic data into compelling narratives for diverse partner and end-client audiences. The Standard-Bearer for Every Health Plan We Serve Zerigo Health's clinical outcomes are only as powerful as the partnerships behind them. The Director of Health Plan Customer Success is the person our health plan partners call when they need answers, and the person who makes sure they never have to wait long. You will own the post-sale relationship across our health plan portfolio -- owning the relationship through monthly business reviews, performance analysis, and long-term growth post-implementation. This is not a reactive support role. You will proactively monitor account health, anticipate challenges before they surface, design action plans grounded in data, and ensure every health plan partner is fully realizing the clinical and economic value Zerigo delivers. You will also serve as the connective tissue between our health plan partners and Zerigo's internal teams — bringing the voice of the customer into product, sales, and clinical conversations. CORE DELIVERABLES What You Will Own Relationship Nurturing & Growth Build deep, multi-stakeholder relationships within each health plan — from clinical and pharmacy leadership to operations and finance — fostering trust and long-term retention. Monthly Business Reviews Lead structured, data-driven monthly business reviews with health plan partners — tracking utilization, member outcomes, cost savings, and contract performance against agreed KPIs. Problem Solving & Issue Resolution Serve as the primary point of escalation for health plan partners — diagnosing challenges quickly, coordinating internal resources, and delivering timely and transparent resolution. Product Adoption Oversee adoption for new health plan partners — monitoring and continuously improving training processes to ensure smooth product adoption, member engagement, and clinical collaboration.
