Your new position As Associate Director, External Engagement Logistics Management, this role leads the strategy, governance, and performance of third-party logistics vendors supporting external engagements across the organization. The position drives operational excellence, strengthens end-to-end compliance, and optimizes vendor delivery across engagement types (e.g., advisory boards, healthcare professional (HCP) and key opinion leader (KOL) engagements, and congresses). Acting as a strategic partner to cross-functional stakeholders, the role shapes scalable solutions that enhance stakeholder experience while aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements. We offer exciting responsibilities: • Lead vendor strategy and governance, including RFP support, vendor selection, contract negotiation input, and ongoing relationship management in partnership with Procurement • Own end-to-end planning and oversight of vendor-delivered logistics across external engagement types (advisory boards, HCP/KOL engagements, congresses, and partner meetings) • Ensure compliant, timely contracting, honoraria processing, expense payments, and accurate reporting for external expert interactions in collaboration with Medical Affairs Operations • Drive clear cross-functional communication before and after major engagements to ensure alignment, readiness, and continuous improvement • Own vendor-related budget planning, forecasting, tracking, invoice review/approvals, and financial governance aligned with contractual terms • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, operational efficiencies, and value realization from vendor partnerships, with a strong risk and compliance mindset Your profile This role is suited to a strategic, execution-focused leader who builds trust across diverse stakeholders and brings structure to complex operational environments. Success requires strong judgment, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to influence across teams while maintaining high standards for quality, compliance, and consistency. • An enterprise mindset and continuous improvement approach are important to scale sustainable, compliant solutions. • Bachelor’s degree required • 7+ years of experience in vendor management, outsourcing, or operations leadership within pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments • Demonstrated experience with external engagement logistics, events operations, and/or HCP interaction support • Strong vendor management capabilities, including negotiation and performance management • Strong knowledge of global compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to external expert engagements, including fair market value (FMV) and aggregate spend reporting principles • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and invoice/contractual governance We are committed to an inclusive recruitment process and welcome applications from all job applicants. Role Description The US Director, HEOR & RWE will lead the design, execution, and communication of health, economic and outcomes research strategies supporting the company’s global metabolic health portfolio. This leader will generate high-quality real-world, clinical, and economic evidence to demonstrate product value to payers, providers, patients, and policymakers. The role requires expertise in value demonstration, real-world data (RWD), and outcomes modeling, as well as the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for commercial and clinical decision-making. Remote location, ideally NE corridor. - Develop and implement integrated global HEOR strategies to support pipeline and lifecycle management programs with a US launch focus. - Lead development of US RWD strategies and partnerships with academic consortia, claims databases, and health systems to support value demonstration, comparative effectiveness, and longitudinal outcomes studies. - Design and implement real-world data analyses to understand and articulate the current patient demographics, treatment patterns, and outcomes. - Develop AMCP value dossiers, economic modeling, narratives, and scientific publications to support value propositions. - Serve as a key domain expert for payer engagement, providing evidence summaries and presentations that strengthen product positioning and formulary access. - Engage and collaborate with external partners including payers, providers, and other access decision-makers to establish/maintain strong partnerships and gather insights. - Lead the external dissemination of HEOR/RWE deliverables including publications, presentations, and professional conferences. - Provide input to clinical development programs. - Collaborate closely with partners on HEOR & RWE programs, ensuring coordinated evidence generation, cost-sharing, and data-sharing aligned to global commercialization goals. - Represent HEOR in relevant governance meetings, advisory boards, and internal strategy sessions to shape business decisions through evidence-driven insight. Qualifications - PhD, PharmD, MPH, or Master’s in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, or a related discipline. - 8–12 years of HEOR/RWE experience in biotech, pharmaceutical organizations or consultancies with demonstrated success in pre-launch and commercialization phases. - Therapeutic area expertise in metabolic, endocrine, or cardiometabolic diseases strongly preferred. - Deep understanding of payer and evidence requirements in the U.S. - Proficiency in RWD study design and analysis, and patient outcome measure development. - Proven ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences, including payers, regulators, and cross-functional business leaders. - Experience leading external collaborators, vendors, and cross-company joint HEOR initiatives. - Publication track record and presentation experience at peer-reviewed scientific meetings.
