Position Title: Business Applications Engineer (SharePoint and Power Platform) Location: Preferred onsite in Irvine, CA, open to onsite in all DZYNE offices or Remote (United States) for a strong candidate. Work Arrangement: Standard M-F, 8-5 Position Summary: This position is a full-time role located on site in either the Irvine or Boise offices of DZYNE Technologies LLC, or remote within the United States. The primary goal of this position is to design, develop, and maintain customized SharePoint sites and business applications that support and streamline critical enterprise processes. This role goes beyond building electronic forms - encompassing the creation of Power Apps solutions, automated workflows using Power Automate, and data-driven analytics through Power BI dashboards in Microsoft’s GCC High government cloud The ideal candidate will leverage SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform to improve document management, enhance accessibility, accelerate workflow efficiency, and deliver actionable insights across the organization. Required Duties and Responsibilities: - Solution Development: Architect, design, and implement customized SharePoint solutions, including advanced site structures, web parts, list architectures, and integrated dashboards to support enterprise-wide business processes. - Workflow & Form Automation: Develop robust, scalable business applications and automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy. - System Integration: Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook) and external enterprise systems (e.g., ERP) using APIs, connectors, and custom integrations. - Data Analysis & Visualization: Build high‑impact Power BI dashboards and analytical reports that transform complex data into actionable business intelligence for decision-makers. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver user‑friendly, scalable outcomes. - Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level support, diagnose and resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and maintain secure, reliable platform operations. Required Skills/Qualifications: - Platform Expertise: Demonstrated, in‑depth mastery of SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform, with the ability to design, build, extend, and administer solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. - Technical Experience: Proven success in an engineering or development role focused on SharePoint and Power Platform, including building complex forms and applications in Power Apps, automating multi‑step workflows in Power Automate, and developing advanced, data‑rich dashboards in Power BI. - Professional Competencies: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the capacity to translate business requirements into well‑architected, scalable technical solutions while managing projects independently. - Experience Level: A minimum of 5 years of hands‑on engineering experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions within SharePoint Online and the Power Platform ecosystem. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: - Experience working within Microsoft 365 government clouds, e.g., GCC High. - Microsoft 365 technical certifications (e.g., SharePoint Developer Associate and Power Platform Developer Associate). - Experience supporting or implementing quality management systems. - Experience supporting organizations in highly regulated environments, e.g., the defense industrial base, FinTech, etc. Education: - While a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, it is not required. Those with equivalent professional experience or relevant technical certifications are encouraged to apply. Clearance Level Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance, as required for the role. This executive‑level role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities by leveraging deep industry expertise, strong customer relationships, and a proven track record of success within the homeland security ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience working with DHS components—particularly the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Secret Service (USSS), and the Federal Protective Service (FPS)—as well as a working knowledge of SLTT procurement environments and operational needs.
