Role Description You will own both recruiting and people operations at Xata. - On the talent side, you'll help us identify, attract, and close exceptional candidates across engineering, product, go-to-market, and leadership roles. - You'll work closely with hiring managers to continuously improve our hiring process and candidate experience. - On the people operations side, you'll help build a world-class employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding and performance processes to compensation reviews, benefits, compliance, and team development. - This is a highly autonomous role with significant ownership. - We're looking for someone who enjoys building systems from scratch, improving how organizations operate, and helping teams scale while maintaining a strong culture. Qualifications - Significant experience in recruiting, people operations, or talent leadership roles within technology companies. - Strong track record of hiring exceptional talent, particularly for technical roles. - Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, compensation, and offboarding. - Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with a high degree of ownership. - Highly self-directed and proactive. You don't wait to be told what to do—you identify opportunities, propose solutions, and drive them to completion. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Excellent written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment. - Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple countries is a plus.
