Role Description The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced consultant with 6+ years of experience. The position will be expected to assist the North Central Solid Waste Practice Group in support of business development activities. Responsibilities - Manage hydrogeologic investigations, site assessments and technical projects. - Conduct both internal and client-facing meetings related to project work. - Develop and maintain technology leadership in groundwater impact assessment and environmental remediation. - Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, quality deliverables, outstanding client service, and exceptional teamwork. - Assure that up-to-date and validated technical methods and practice tools are applied. - Champion quality and demonstrate leadership by personal high standards for work processes and products and exemplary service to clients. - Actively participate in professional societies, conferences, and meetings that will increase the firm's visibility to potential clients and recruits. - Negotiate and agree on project scope, job tasks, contract terms, budget, and schedule with Clients. - Manage work to meet contract schedules, appropriate codes and regulations, regulatory compliance and/or enforcement, and industry standard-of-care criteria. - Perform background research, gather information, and interpret laboratory and field data to support technical activities. Evaluate data reports and draw comparisons of results with similar analyses. - Provide input for and develop written technical reports for delivery to clients and in conformance with regulatory program frameworks. Perform quality control review and maintain deliverable quality to meet internal, client, and stakeholder requirements. - Actively support and participate in the company health and safety program by teaching and enforcing health and safety standards, regulations, and procedures. - Provide outstanding service to clients, to the point that clients sole source new work opportunities. Maintain close personal relationships with existing and prospective clients. - Lead permitting and regulatory agency coordination efforts. - Lead, mentor, delegate to and manage junior staff to grow their knowledge and career path. - Develop relationships with a network of technical experts throughout the company. - Develop proposals by working with clients to understand their goals as well as technical needs and requirements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Science; Master’s Degree highly preferred. - 6+ years of relevant professional environmental consulting experience. - Licensed as professional geologist (RG/PG). - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Extensive written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing and technical report writing. - Experience with management of both private and public sector projects. - At least 2-3 years of experience directing/managing various staff resources. - Well-developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team. Role Description We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our Environmental Practice Group. This role will be responsible for account receivable and account payable duties within our group, from start to finish. It is a dynamic position that requires a person to work well under pressure and who enjoys a fast-paced environment where they can think independently and make decisions. Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Worth TX - Ft Worth, TX 76109Weaver Consultants Group is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our growing Health and Safety Team as an Field Health & Safety Specialist (Mid- to Senior-Level). This position is open to candidates located nationwide but, must live within 60 miles of a “Large Hub/Core Airport”. The selected individual will play a key role in advancing health and safety performance across diverse projects nationwide. This role requires strong safety leadership, the ability to influence and engage field personnel, and a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation. This position involves extensive travel and requires assisting field crews for extended periods, working as part of a team on active job sites. This exciting opportunity requires critical thinking and an appreciation for the relationship between safety professionals and their personnel and clients. Responsibilities: Review accident/incident reports. Daily Field Reports Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics, including noise levels and the use of machinery. Assist with organizing the Company annual safety training. Coordinate with Health & Safety Manager to plan, develop, and assist in field training. Conduct field risk assessment and provide training on preventative measures. Assist in ensuring all applicable internal and external reporting requirements are met in an accurate and timely manner. Remain current on all company policies and safety and health standards. Incident Review Team Member Conduct incident reviews for injuries, near misses, property damage, or auto incidents as a member of the Incident Review Team. Partner with Supervisor/Principals on appropriate corrective actions should circumstances warrant them. Field Implementation Initiate, coordinate, and complete safety projects consistent with corporate policy. Develop and track appropriate leading and lagging performance metrics relative to goals. Develop and direct the HSE (Health Safety and Environmental) auditing process to include inspections and analysis. Conduct behavior-based safety observations and site safety inspections. Lead and coordinate site emergency response efforts. Auto Safety Support Review Site Specific Health and Safety Plans (SSHSPs) and Pre-Job Hazard Analysis (PJHAs). Monitor Geotab GPS tracking devices and composite scores to advise Principal/Supervisor of necessary corrective action(s). Create or modify Safety Briefing Meetings based on observed incidents. Track and tabulate incident data and prepare annual compliance reports for Incident Rates, DART (Days Away Restricted and Transferred) Rates, and Experience Modification Ratings. Health and Safety Liaison Assist in reporting at monthly Senior Project Manager meetings on Safety Committee meeting highlights, safety initiatives, YTD incident numbers, and other related topics. Present Health and Safety topics and statistics at Principal meetings as requested. Act as a resource for all employee health and safety-related questions, inquiries, and concerns. Consult on and maintain an effective medical surveillance program. Consult on auto insurance and best practices. Develop best practices for safety, including metrics and goals. All other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required. 5+ years of progressive environmental, public health, industrial, or construction health and safety experience. Professional Safety Certification (i.e., ASP, CSP, CHST) OSHA 500 certification preferred. Willingness to travel throughout the United States. Travel up to 75% of the time to various job locations. Willingness to work in remote areas. 40-Hour HAZWOPER. Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance. Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal, detail-oriented, and organizational skills. Familiarity with OSHA standards. Ability to lead, coach, and mentor.
