Role Description Based in Massachusetts, we are strengthening our presence in New England and are looking for an Area Manager who will: - Take full responsibility for sales in the New England territory - Support and gradually take on sales leadership responsibilities - Develop along a clear Sales Leadership Track This role is ideal for an ambitious B2B sales professional with first leadership experience who wants to grow into a broader sales leadership position. What You Will Do - Manage and grow sales in MA, ME, NH, VT, RI, CT - Build and maintain relationships with distributors and end customers - Identify and win new customers; expand business with existing accounts and channel partners - Conduct on-site product demonstrations, presentations, and trainings - Represent Wöhler at trade shows, industry events, and customer workshops - Work closely with sales leadership on sales plans, forecasting, and implementation - Help establish and maintain sales processes, CRM discipline, and reporting standards - Share structured market and competitor feedback with management and the German headquarters - Take on increased responsibility over time with a clear leadership development path Qualifications - Several years of B2B sales experience, ideally with technical products or capital equipment - First experience in leading, coaching, or coordinating others (e.g., mentoring colleagues, acting as a senior sales rep, or informal team lead) - Business / commercial background (degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering with business focus, or equivalent experience) - Experience in one or more of the following areas is a strong plus: HVAC, Plumbing, Chimney / Construction / Building Services - Strong presentation and communication skills; confident with both technical and non-technical audiences - Solid analytical skills; comfortable working with KPIs, sales figures, and basic controlling tasks - Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, and desire to grow into a sales leadership role - Willingness to travel on average one week per month Benefits - A key role in a growing U.S. organization with a clear Sales Leadership Track - Direct collaboration with U.S. management and German headquarters - High-quality, innovative products with a strong reputation in the market - Competitive base salary - Commission / performance-based compensation - Car allowance - 401(k) - Health, dental, and vision insurance
