Buyer Location: Stow, Ohio, United States Category Supply Chain The Buyer will be a member of the Purchasing Organization and will be paired with a Purchasing Specialist to manage a large list of direct material suppliers. The role will be focused on strategic management of assigned suppliers, with a focus on continuous improvement and execution against key business metrics including inventory turns, customer order fill rates, and purchase price variance (PPV). **This is a Hybrid Position. M/F are remote work days KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Work with Product Managers and Suppliers to develop strategic promotional plans. Negotiate price discounts in support of promotional plans. - Negotiate annual Supplier sales rebate agreements. - Manage Supplier performance through conducting Scorecard reviews and developing and implementing action plans for improvement. - Other Supplier terms and conditions negotiations as needed. - Work closely with Purchasing Specialist to manage assigned products and suppliers. - Review and place purchase orders. - Set and maintain JD Edwards system item planning parameters (lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stock, etc.).
