Role Description As a Procurement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising SaaS procurement for our customers. You'll partner closely to develop strategic sourcing plans, navigate negotiations with key SaaS vendors, and oversee supplier relationships throughout their lifecycle. You will report to a Procurement Lead or Director, and work closely with the rest of the Procurement and account management team, with responsibility for delivering great outcomes to our customers through the delivery of commercial strategies and negotiating SaaS purchases and renewals with their vendors. Responsibilities - You’ll be accountable for Vertice’s service delivery into a portfolio of accounts, supported by Vertice’s broader delivery capability and resources. - You’ll work with a range of customers, some of the fastest growing and best known in the world, negotiating SaaS deals on their behalf. - You’ll work closely with the Vertice account management and sales teams to maintain strong relationships with our customers. - You’ll act as the primary buy-side contact for our customers, ensuring that their commercial objectives are met. - You’ll work alongside your customers to develop software commercial category strategies, jointly targeting the areas of greatest commercial benefit. - Work with senior stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their requirements, purchase objectives and technology strategy. Qualifications - You are a clear, confident and compelling communicator — in writing, in conversation and in front of C-suite stakeholders. - You’ll be experienced in high volume and high value transactions in a buying or selling capacity. - You will bring real negotiation expertise to the role, with an in-depth knowledge of the available levers to pull and strategies to employ to get the best result from SaaS vendors. - You’ll be a creative thinker that challenges customers and suppliers to help reach desired outcomes. - You’re effective in managing stakeholder expectations, providing constructive challenge and ensuring all key objectives and timelines are met. - You will bring commercial experience in an indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting experience. You'll partner closely to develop strategic sourcing plans, navigate complex negotiations with key SaaS vendors, and oversee supplier relationships throughout their lifecycle. Your proven track record in saving costs will be instrumental in maximising value for our customers. Work closely with the rest of the Procurement and Account Management team, with responsibility for delivering great outcomes to our customers by delivering commercial strategies while negotiating SaaS purchases and renewals with their vendors. Responsibilities: - You’ll be accountable for Vertice’s service delivery into a portfolio of the most strategic accounts supported by Vertice’s broader delivery capability and resources, as a senior member of a delivery team. - You’ll work with a range of customers, some of the fastest growing and best known in the world, negotiating SaaS deals on their behalf. - You’ll work closely with the Vertice account management and sales teams to maintain strong relationships with our customers. - You’ll act as the primary buy-side contact for our customers, ensuring that their commercial objectives are met. - You’ll be accountable for Vertice’s delivery into those clients, including coaching more junior colleagues to deliver high quality outcomes for clients. - You’ll work alongside your customers to develop software commercial category strategies, jointly targeting the areas of greatest commercial benefit. - Work with C suite, and senior stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their requirements, purchase objectives and technology strategy. Qualifications - You are a clear, confident and compelling communicator — in writing, in conversation and in front of C-suite stakeholders. - You’re able to provide strategic insight to customers, understanding their challenges, pain points and opportunities. - You will bring real negotiation expertise to the role, with an in-depth knowledge of the available levers to pull and strategies to employ to get the best result across from SaaS vendors. - You’ll be a creative thinker that challenges customers and suppliers to help reach desired outcomes. - You are an expert in the project management of commercial processes. - You’re effective in managing stakeholder expectations, providing constructive challenge and ensuring all key objectives and timelines are met. - You will bring procurement and/or commercial experience from indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, the SaaS market or have procurement consulting experience. - Category experience in technology (including SaaS) is highly preferred. Role Description Your role at Vertice: - Working closely with the wider Sales and Business Development teams, and reporting to the VP Sales, North America, you will be responsible for securing new business across Canada. - This is a unique opportunity as first boots-on-the-ground in Canada to shape how we engage the market and new business acquisition. Responsibilities: - Independently source, manage and close deals with leading technology companies. - Manage opportunities in CRM to accurately forecast revenue opportunities and hit quarterly/annual targets. - Engage with leads and prospects in person and over Zoom. - Be the Ambassador and source of knowledge of our product to the outside world, being able to clearly, concisely, and credibly articulate the product and its USP to consumers or partners. - Work closely with partners to drive new business. - Communicate feedback from the field to the Product team to make sure that Vertice remains at the forefront of innovation. - Flexibility - things change around here. Qualifications - 4+ years experience in an Account Executive Role selling SaaS products. - A deal closing mindset. - Years of experience hitting and exceeding targets. - Strong relationship and rapport building skills. - Tenacious and resilient. - Tech savvy, extremely customer service oriented, professional, resourceful.
