Role Description Partnerships are at the core of what Vera is building. The organizations we partner with, whether medical societies, clinical publishers, or digital health platforms, represent where clinicians already go to learn, stay current, and get their work done. A partnership with the right organization means distribution, credibility, and a direct line to the feedback that improves the product. We've already closed deals with some of the most important names in the space, and we're just getting started. The Partnerships Lead owns this. You'll build relationships with executive directors, publishers, and business leaders, figure out what each partner actually needs, and design deals around that. No two partnerships look alike. One might be a content integration, another a distribution agreement, another a co-branded member benefit. Your job is to find the structure that works for each side and close it. You'll start by shadowing existing deals to learn the playbook, then own the full pipeline: from first contact through signed agreement to launch and beyond. What you'll do - Own a pipeline of 50+ partners across medical societies, clinical publishers, and digital health platforms - Build relationships with executive directors, publishers, COOs, and business leaders - Design partnership structures tailored to each partner, then close them - Project-manage from signature to launch, coordinating with product and engineering on integrations - Track adoption from partner members and report back to partners on results - Work directly with the founders on strategy and the highest-leverage deals Qualifications - 2-5 years in sales, business development, or partnerships at a fast-moving startup (healthcare is a plus) - Deeply social: you build trust quickly, hold your own in a room with senior executives, and make people want to work with you - Creative deal-maker: you don't follow a script, you figure out what the other side needs and build around it - Organized enough to keep 15+ conversations moving in parallel without dropping anything - Fast learner on healthcare: you don't need to be clinical, but you need to get the world of medical societies, conferences, and publishers quickly and not sound out of place in it - High agency: you see an opportunity, you move How we work - Ship, then improve: We get things in front of users fast and let real feedback drive iteration. A feature in production teaches you more than a month of planning. - Own it completely: There's no handoff culture here. You take a problem and see it through, from first principles to production. - Always look out for the user: Every decision comes back to the clinician on the other end. If it doesn't make their day better, it doesn't ship. Why Vera - Rocketship traction: 100%+ MoM growth, built by a team of 5 - Real impact: Every feature you build helps clinicians make better decisions and save lives - Best time to join: We’ve just raised our Series A and are entering the most important phase of the company, where a small team defines everything that comes next Details - Location: San Francisco (strongly preferred). For exceptional candidates, remote or relocation support (O-1A / H-1B sponsorship) available. - Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful early-stage equity. - Employment: Full-time

Role Description Most health tech is built by engineers who've never spoken to a clinician. At Vera, you'll talk to users constantly, figure out the simplest way to solve their actual problem, and ship it. You'll work directly with the founders and own product areas end-to-end: from the first conversation with a user through to production. Our engineering team handles infrastructure and security, so you can stay focused on what matters most: building things people actually use. The best version of this person has shipped AI features to a large audience of users at a company where the product had to be fast, opinionated, and delightful, not just functional. - Talk to clinicians, understand their workflows, and turn messy problems into clean solutions - Work directly with the founders to set product direction and decide what gets built next - Iterate fast in production, using real user signals to improve what you've shipped Qualifications - 2+ years shipping production code in a product-driven environment, ideally at a consumer, prosumer, or healthtech startup - Strong fullstack skills and hands-on experience building with LLMs - High agency: you move without being asked, take full ownership, and don't wait for a perfect brief - User-obsessed: you talk to users, not about them, and let what you hear shape what you build; you've obviously read the mom test - Honest: you say what you think, flag what's broken, and care more about getting it right than being right Requirements - Ship, then improve. - Own it completely. - Always look out for the user. Benefits - Rocketship traction: 100%+ MoM growth, built by a team of 5 - Real impact: Every feature you build helps clinicians make better decisions and save lives - Best time to join: We’ve just raised our Series A and are entering the most important phase of the company, where a small team defines everything that comes next Details - Location: San Francisco (strongly preferred). Role Description Most AI products in healthcare are built by engineers guessing what clinicians need, or by clinicians advising from the sidelines. We want someone who lives in both worlds. - Own clinical product areas end-to-end: talking to clinicians, figuring out what they actually need, building it, shipping it, and iterating on it in production. - Your clinical background shapes what gets built, how it gets evaluated, and whether it performs safely when it matters. - Our engineering team handles infrastructure and security, so you can stay focused on what clinicians feel every day and what would make it better. - The best version of this person has shipped AI features to a large audience of users at a company where the product had to be fast, opinionated, and delightful, not just functional. And they've practiced medicine. Qualifications - Formal medical training (MD, DO, or international equivalent) and real clinical experience. - Comfortable building with code: fullstack experience and hands-on work with LLMs. - High agency: you see a problem, talk to a user, and fix it without waiting for a spec. - User-obsessed: you talk to clinicians, not about them, and you know what it means to get a clinical decision wrong. - Honest: you say what you think, flag what's broken, and care more about getting it right than being right. Requirements - If you want to keep practicing alongside Vera, you can. Benefits - Rocketship traction: 100%+ MoM growth, built by a team of 5. - Real impact: Every feature you build helps clinicians make better decisions and save lives. - Best time to join: We’ve just raised our Series A and are entering the most important phase of the company, where a small team defines everything that comes next. For exceptional candidates, remote or relocation support (O-1A / H-1B sponsorship) available. - Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful early-stage equity. Details shared in process. - Employment: Full-time.

Role Description You’ll be the pen and the mind behind how Vera is perceived by the world. Vera is already one of the fastest clinical products in history, built and scaled without marketing. The opportunity is to take that momentum and turn it into something unmistakable: - A brand people recognize instantly - A point of view that cuts through the noise - A story that carries as far as the product itself can go This isn’t about running ads or optimizing funnels; it’s about: - How we put what we stand for into the world - How we speak - How that shows up consistently across everything we do To do this well, you need to understand the product deeply enough to explain: - What it does - Why clinicians trust it - What makes it different You’ll work directly with the founders on positioning, narrative, and how Vera shows up externally, with full ownership and no existing structure to lean on. Qualifications - You’re creative and come up with ideas people remember - You’ve built a brand before - You understand product-led growth - You go deep on the product and the users, not just the messaging - You move fast and don't need a big team to make things happen - You want to own this, not just run it Requirements - Work directly with the founders on how the company is understood, not just how it grows - Own how Vera shows up in the world, from brand and voice to positioning and story - Take what’s already working and turn it into something deliberate and scalable - Write everything that matters, from product launches to narrative to day-to-day communication - Decide how we reach clinicians in ways that actually land - Own marketing from day one and shape what it becomes Benefits - Rocketship traction: 100%+ MoM growth, built by a team of 5 - Real impact: Every feature you build helps clinicians make better decisions and save lives - Best time to join: We’ve just raised our Series A and are entering the most important phase of the company Details - Location: San Francisco (strongly preferred). Role Description The product is the company. Healthcare runs on decisions, and Vera gets used in moments where those decisions actually matter. What’s on the screen has to be clear and reliable right away, because how it looks and behaves is part of the decision itself. Every screen and every interaction should help a clinician get to the right answer faster. - Own how Vera looks, feels, and works, end to end. - Not just designing it, but building it too. - Product, brand, typography, interactions, the system behind it, all of it. - Write code, ship fast, and see your work in use within days. - Notice things other people don’t and don’t ignore them. - Don’t think of design and engineering as separate. - Shape what it feels like to use Vera in moments that matter. Qualifications - You naturally move between design and code. - You have strong taste, and you care about the details most people overlook. - You’ve worked on both product and brand. - You notice when something is off and fix it without being asked. - You’re fast, but you care about getting things right. - You want to own something, not just contribute to it. Requirements - Ship, then improve. - Get things in front of users fast and let real feedback drive iteration. - Own it completely; take a problem and see it through, from first principles to production. - Always look out for the user; every decision comes back to the clinician on the other end. Benefits - Rocketship traction: 100%+ MoM growth, built by a team of 5. - Real impact: Every feature you build helps clinicians make better decisions and save lives. - Best time to join: We’ve just raised our Series A and are entering the most important phase of the company. Role Description We’re looking for former founders who’ve built something from nothing and want to do it again, alongside a high-output team already moving fast. You know what it means to wear every hat, operate with urgency, and push through ambiguity. You won’t be slotted into a rigid function. You’ll work directly with the founders to identify the highest-leverage problems and own them end to end. This is close to the experience of building from zero, but with hundreds of thousands of users and traction already there. What You'll Do - Identify and own critical strategic initiatives across product, growth, partnerships, or operations - Move fast and make high-quality decisions, just like you did at your own company - Work directly with founders to shape Vera's trajectory as we scale from 5 to 50 people - Build and lead a team as your area of ownership grows - Bring founder-level intensity, creativity, and ownership to everything you touch Qualifications - You've founded or co-founded a startup before (any stage, any outcome) - You have exceptional execution speed: you ship, you don't just strategize - You're comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-changing environments - You have strong technical fluency (you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to speak the language) - You care deeply about healthcare, or building products that genuinely matter How we work - Ship, then improve. Role Description You can’t improve what you can’t measure. Every answer on Vera is a clinical decision being made by a clinician. That’s the bar. Not “mostly correct,” not “good on average.” We need to know exactly how the Vera behaves, where it holds up, where it breaks, and why. Think of the system like a chessboard with millions of different combinations. Different models, prompts, retrieval strategies, ranking, parameters, all interacting at once. Your job is to understand that space and push it in the right direction by optimizing every part of it, down to the smallest parameter. This isn’t about writing eval scripts and calling it done. It’s about going a step further, understanding how the system behaves across specialties, clinical contexts, and edge cases, and improving it so that answers hold up no matter the setting. You’ll be working on a complex search and reasoning engine, where the goal is simple but hard: make it better for every question, every specialty, every clinical setting. What You’ll Do - Optimize every layer of the system, from model behavior to retrieval to ranking to the smallest parameters - Take a system with thousands of moving parts and figure out which ones actually drive better answers - Push performance forward by testing, breaking, and refining how outputs are generated - Go deep on failures, not just what went wrong, but what pattern it reveals - Tune how the system behaves across different specialties, question types, and edge cases - Work directly with the founders on the highest-leverage improvements - Work with leading healthcare institutions to validate how the system performs in practice Qualifications - You don’t trust outputs you can’t explain - You care about being right, not just being close - You like working in messy spaces where there’s no obvious path - You move fast, but you don’t compromise when the stakes are high - You have strong technical depth in LLMs, search, or similar systems - You’re excited to work at the edge of what’s currently being done How we work - Ship, then improve. We get things in front of users fast and let real feedback drive iteration. A feature in production teaches you more than a month of planning. - Own it completely. There's no handoff culture here. You take a problem and see it through, from first principles to production. - Always look out for the user. Every decision comes back to the clinician on the other end.
