• Perform field inspections and appraisals within assigned territory to determine appropriate replacement cost valuation, as well as to identify potential risks, and hazards. • This involves evaluating factors such as property location, construction, security measures, and other relevant variables. • During inspections, if observed, you will identify collections, memorabilia, coins, etc., and discuss the findings with underwriters for additional opportunities for insurance product sales. • Provide guidance and requirements/recommendations to homeowners on risk hardening measures they can take to prevent or minimize losses. • This may involve educating policyholders on fire safety, security systems, disaster preparedness, and other risk reduction strategies. • Work closely with outside appraisal partners. • Being the service matter expert (SME) for your assigned territory. • This involves staying updated on current pricing (including the replacement cost tool), industry trends, regulatory changes, and understanding emerging risks in the homeowner's insurance. • This may include providing support to other territories as necessary, attending professional functions. • Work closely with the underwriting department This includes timely, consistent reviews of property valuations, and assistance with developing risk mitigation plans for the protection of property. • Work closely with your assigned Inspection Service Coordinator (scheduler) to ensure accuracy of your calendar scheduling and timeliness of inspections. • Work with other areas of the company including finance and accounting, actuarial, sales and marketing, claims, operations, and technology on special projects as requested. • Travel as needed.

• Set and execute the enterprise strategy for commercial and casualty claims handling, aligned with Vault’s profitability, growth, and service objectives • Serve as subject matter expert on complex, high-exposure, and litigated claims • Establish governance standards for claim quality, reserving accuracy, coverage interpretation, and expense control • Identify emerging loss trends, systemic exposures, and legal developments, translating insights into underwriting and product action • Oversee all aspects of commercial and casualty claim operations, including desk, complex, litigated, and excess claims • Drive performance against KPIs (cycle time, leakage, severity, expense ratio, litigation outcomes, subrogation recovery) • Lead reserve adequacy strategy and collaborate with Finance and Actuarial on large-loss modeling and reporting • Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and best-practice standards across all jurisdictions • Direct strategy for litigated claims, mediations, arbitrations, and trials in partnership with Claims Counsel and outside counsel • Oversee coverage analysis and resolution of disputed or complex policy issues • Manage national panel counsel, TPAs, experts, and vendors; negotiate fee arrangements and performance standards • Ensure disciplined decision-making around defense strategy, settlement authority, and escalation thresholds • Lead, mentor, and develop senior claims leaders, managers, and technical specialists • Build a high-performing claims culture grounded in accountability, ownership, and service excellence • Partner with Talent & Development to recruit, retain, and upskill top casualty claims talent • Establish succession planning and capability development for a growing claims organization • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to Underwriting, Product, Risk Services, Legal, and Distribution • Support broker and client relationships on high-profile or sensitive losses • Contribute claims insight to underwriting appetite, pricing, wording, and portfolio management decisions • Reinforce Vault’s HNW value proposition by delivering white-glove service through complex claim resolution

United States

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for enterprise-grade applications. • Build end-to-end ML pipelines including training, evaluation, optimization, deployment, and monitoring. • Architect and develop agentic AI systems including multi-agent workflows, RAG chatbots, and intelligent automation. • Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications tailored to insurance workflows. • Develop multi-agent orchestration systems for complex P&C processes. • Drive company-wide AI adoption by identifying high-impact use cases across P&C insurance functions. • Conduct experimentation and research with state-of-the-art AI techniques and frameworks. • Establish AI development standards, best practices, and governance frameworks. • Collaborate with our Python-strong data engineering team on backend integrations.

• Performs general underwriting functions including submission reviews, pricing analysis, and setting policy terms and conditions. • Analyze inspection reports, communicate inspection requirements, and determine if underwriting action is required. • Monitor various reports for consistency and determining appropriate action or changes. • Make and follow through with request for missing information from outside sources. • Establish and maintain relationships with our agents; cross sell to round out existing accounts. • Act as a liaison with our claims team on any claim’s activity and determine if underwriting action is required. • Partner with Concierge and Underwriting teams in building and maintaining business relationships. • Demonstrate solid service standards while developing strong sales skills and underwriting best practices. • Develop relationship with assigned brokers.
