Position Description Valiant Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer (Ansible/Terraform) to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team! Must-Have Experience: - 5+ years of IT experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field, or at least 8 years of IT experience and no degree requirement - 6+ years of development experience. This experience must include full-time development on Linux/UNIX platforms and will involve the use of bash scripting, Python, or Ruby. - 3+ years of Ansible and Terraform experience. The successful candidate will have experience working with Amazon Web Services, either deploying or accessing AWS services and applications that run in AWS. This experience must have included significant AWS API automation. - 2+ years of Jenkins (or similar CI/CD) experience: Advanced-level Jenkins experience (building/maintaining pipelines). Solid understanding of CI/CD processes, with proven experience building and automating jobs. - 2+ years of Ruby Development experience. The successful candidate will have experience scripting Ruby to integrate with operating systems and various tool APIs Strongly Preferred Experience: - Security Engineering: Broad mix of security expertise in areas such as: SIEM integration, and implementation of technology mechanisms to protect the Confidentiality, Availability, and Integrity of information systems. - Strong experience with systems administration: The successful candidate must have experience with Windows and Linux/UNIX server operating systems. It has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, and internal equity. The salary for this role is expected to be in the $150,000 - $165,000 range.
