Role Description As a Radiology Tech Multi-modality, you will operate our advanced scanning equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Your commitment to patient care, safety, and technical excellence will be essential in delivering optimal imaging services. - Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas. - Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiological equipment to maintain functionality. - Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and adhere to hygiene and infection control protocols. - Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately. - Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal structures during imaging. - Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards. - Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed. - Monitor patients during scanning procedures, identifying and responding to any allergic reactions to contrast agents. - Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report any deficiencies. Qualifications - Minimum one year of experience in the following modalities: CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound (US) as verified by ARRT or RDMS certification. - At least one year of experience working in a hospital setting. - An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, combined with one year of relevant experience and training. - Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS). - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. - Multimodality Technologists must possess certification in two (2) or more modalities: Radiology (X-ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or have completed an accredited cross-training program. Role Description The IDR Collection Specialist must perform collection activities on NSA Negotiations (We will teach you) and reconcile complex reports related to Independent Dispute Resolution. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as they will be communicating with outsourced companies. This position requires an individual who can multitask, solve problems, and manage time effectively. - Investigate, review the Insurance EOB, and contact payors to collect on formal independent dispute resolution accounts where additional revenue is required to be paid. - Research errors, payments, fees, reconcile accounts to invoices, and submit IDR requests to ensure proper payment is received and posted to patient accounts. - Identify posting errors while reconciling payments received. - Resolve insurance requests, inquiries, and concerns in an expedient and respectful manner.
