Role Description The Senior Accountant supports the Finance department with various key responsibilities, including: - Month-end close activities - Outsourced CFO activities for member offices - Facilitating tax preparation and planning with outside tax firms - Developing and maintaining scalable accounting and business processes - Transactional accounting What you'll do: - Participate in month-end close process across operating and affiliate entities, including reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation. - Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies, maintaining strong internal controls and addressing discrepancies or irregularities. - Develop, prepare, and maintain financial statement and reporting frameworks for outsourced CFO services under Triad Track. - Partner with member offices to provide financial guidance, best practices, and recommendations on accounting processes, systems, and technology solutions. - Evaluate existing financial and operational processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and scalability, and lead implementation of improvements. - Assist as the liaison with external tax advisors, facilitating communication, responding to inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate filings. - Coordinate the collection, organization, and validation of financial documents required by external accounting firms for tax planning and preparation. - Respond to financial inquiries from executive leadership, providing clear analysis and actionable insights; collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis team to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. - Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support as needed to drive business initiatives and leadership priorities. - Oversee company expense processes, including credit card management, expense reimbursements, and policy compliance, ensuring timely and accurate processing. - Manage occasional treasury-related activities such as execution of ACH and wire transactions. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. - 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environment, financial reporting, or related roles. - Preference to candidates who hold or plan to obtain CPA certification. - Strong understanding of GAAP and experience applying accounting principles in a multi-entity environment. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office Suite. - Demonstrated experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation. - Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with leadership and external partners. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. - High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
