Position Summary: The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share within the direct business. This role requires a strong background in end-user sales, a deep understanding of the categories Hospeco Brands offers, and the ability to develop and manage high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building relationships with key customers and suppliers while optimizing sales processes and execution. Essential duties and Responsibilities: include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. - Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive growth in the direct business. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue targets. - Identify and develop new business opportunities with end-users. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. - Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to develop competitive strategies and value propositions. - Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly. - Collaborate with the Pricing team and oversee contract negotiations, and sales forecasting to ensure profitability. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. - Provide leadership in sales pipeline management, reporting, and performance tracking. - Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Bachelor’s degree in business, MBA preferred. - 7+ years of experience in sales leadership. - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies. - Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Experience in sales forecasting, demand planning, and P&L ownership. - Proven success leading large, geographically dispersed sales teams. - Strong change management skills, with ability to drive transformation in fast-paced or evolving environments. - Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies. - Experience managing complex sales cycles, including contract negotiation and pricing strategies. - Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Position Summary: The Area Manager is accountable for generating new business opportunities and expanding market share within a designated 50–200 mile radius of the primary city in their assigned territory. This field-based sales role offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, emphasizing strategic growth, customer relationship development, and maintaining a balanced, results-driven work environment. This role is supporting CCP Direct, part of the Hospeco Brand Group. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory growth and revenue objectives within a defined 50–200 mile radius - Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship management - Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers by providing exceptional service, product knowledge, and support - Conduct regular in-person visits to customer sites to assess needs, present solutions, and deliver samples or product demonstrations - Collaborate with internal teams—including customer service, operations, and marketing—to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction - Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform territory strategies and sales approaches - Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up - Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, call reports, and customer records within CRM systems - Represent the company professionally at trade shows, networking events, and other industry functions as required - Regularly travel within the territory and occasionally to corporate headquarters or regional meetings Requirements: - Proven ability to develop new business and manage an established customer base - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities - Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite - Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record - Ability to lift and transport up to 20 lbs. of samples and materials - Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally to corporate meetings
