Role Description The Learning Adventure is a leading tour provider for school and university students. TLA Sports is a key brand within TLA, operating sports and ski trips across the globe. The company focuses on offering bespoke itineraries that deliver an exciting and bespoke mix of high-level sport, engaging activities, and cultural interaction to inspire the next generation of global citizens. We’re seeking an excellent salesperson who is experienced and knowledgeable in the field of sports travel sales. The sports tours specialist will be primarily responsible for growing the TLA Sport business by: - Working on direct enquiries from schools and universities. - Cultivating relationships for the brand through innovative business development avenues. - Managing and harvesting your sales region, proactively generating leads. - Presenting the company in person as well as online. Responsibilities - Sales: Generate leads, manage existing enquiries, convert them, and build/manage a portfolio of clients. - Business Development: Responsible for school visits, direct reach outs to schools, conference attendance, and identifying ways to increase our client base. - Quote Curation: Work with clients to match their needs and build enriching, well-designed, and inspiring tour itineraries. - Maximise Profits: Effective price setting on tours to meet school requirements while maximising margins and profitability. - Client Journey: Ensure every stage of the client journey is superb and all touch points with clients are clear. - Operations: Work closely with the TLA Sport operations team on trips to ensure they have all the right information pre-trip. - Presentations: Deliver presentations in person or online to customers/schools, as well as at parents’ evenings. - Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with clients and maximise all sales opportunities. - Sales Strategy: Inform strategy and bring ideas to the table as part of a fast-growing company. Qualifications - Excellent level of English, both written and verbal. - Careful, organized approach to work and admin. - Resilient with a positive attitude in sales. - Strategic thinker who understands client requirements. - Ambitious and comfortable in a fast-growing environment. - Sales-driven with a passion for personal development. - At least 2 years' experience in travel sales or B2B sales, ideally in sports tours. - Proven track record of strong sales experience and high customer service feedback. - Knowledge of key sports such as football, rugby, hockey, netball, etc. - A passion for travel.
