Primarily responsible for using our business systems to resolve customer inquiries accurately and efficiently by processing product and calibration quotes and orders. Additional responsibilities may include answering and responding to customer inquiries relating to products and calibration services via the telephone. Qualifications - Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred- equivalent combination of educations, training, and experience may be considered. - 2+ yrs. related experience (customer service, data entry, and/or telephone sales preferred) - Must be well organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to multi-task and pivot is a must in this fast-paced environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Candidate must be computer literate and proficient in using a hardware, peripherals, and standard computer software programs. Sells products and calibration services to business and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone by performing the duties listed below. Answers and responds to customer inquiries regarding any issue including billing or expediting orders. Meets activity goals and sales objectives Responsibilities - Primary focus is to handle inbound sales calls, emails and Chats for product and calibration sales. Skills required would be the ability to cross sell stock calibration, repair services and accessories as well as assist customers with customer service issues. Handles inbound calls, emails and Chat to close orders and increase customer loyalty. - Builds and maintains customer’s relationships by offering a consultative approach. Uses listening skills to identify customer needs, opportunities, and makes decisions on next steps. - Cultivates sales call opportunities in order to generate incremental business. Asks probing questions to understand customer requirements and quotes appropriate product and services to meet the customer’s needs. - Prepares product and calibration quotes and orders. - Demonstrates ability and proficiency to upsell and increase average order size (dollar amount). - Provides technical product support to the customer and involves applicable marketing and/or vendors to determine specifications needed for the customer’s applications. - Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers and assists the sales process to close. - Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of Transcat’s inventory levels and vendor delivery schedules. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Distribution & Ecommerce sales, this strategic role will own the digital strategy across web, SEO, paid search, website analytics with the ultimate goal of increasing marketing-driven revenue. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical marketing acumen, data-driven decision-making, and an exceptional ability to translate raw data into compelling narratives that inform strategy and drive action at the leadership and cross-functional levels. This role is accountable for demonstrating measurable marketing ROI and attribution — connecting digital activity directly to sales pipeline and revenue outcomes. Responsibilities - Digital Strategy & Leadership - Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with Transcat’s growth objectives across both Service and Distribution product and rentals business segments. - Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and IT to ensure digital channels support pipeline generation and customer retention goals. - Serve as the internal subject matter expert on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices relevant to B2B and technical/industrial markets. - Oversee paid media campaigns including display, retargeting, and paid social as relevant to B2B audience targeting. - Drive continuous testing and optimization of ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation. -
