• Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and cloud-native data architectures. • Build and maintain production-ready applications and data processing frameworks using Python, PySpark, Scala, and related technologies. • Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready datasets and reporting capabilities. • Contribute to technical architecture decisions, platform improvements, and development best practices. • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows and streaming data solutions. • Create and manage data models, reporting structures, and analytics dashboards using AWS-native tools. • Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support high-volume data processing and storage requirements. • Implement cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging AWS services and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS. • Collaborate with operations teams on backup, disaster recovery, data retention, and security strategies. • Participate in code reviews, technical mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving across the engineering organization. • Evaluate and recommend modern technologies and frameworks that improve scalability, efficiency, and reliability.

• Design, develop, test, and support AWS Serverless applications using C#/.NET that integrate with third-party PMS and loyalty system APIs • Build SQS-driven processing workflows for guest authentication, room charge transactions, configuration updates, and loyalty enrollment requests • Develop integrations with REST and SOAP APIs, including OAuth2/Cognito authentication, token lifecycle management, and secure credential storage through AWS SSM Parameter Store • Create and maintain DynamoDB schemas supporting configuration management, session persistence, and token storage • Write and maintain unit tests using modern mocking frameworks • Utilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and agentic coding assistants to streamline development, improve efficiency, and reduce repetitive work • Partner with engineering, product, and UX teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing platform capabilities • Diagnose and resolve issues within distributed serverless production environments • Participate in peer code reviews and help establish consistent engineering standards across integration services • Contribute within an Agile development environment operating on two-week sprint cycles • Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the SDLC, including secure handling of PII, credential protection, and data masking techniques • Participate in an on-call support rotation.

• Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions within AWS across multi-tenant, high-transaction environments • Design and maintain event-driven and serverless architectures using AWS technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, API Gateway, and Step Functions • Partner with architects and senior engineering leaders to define technical strategy and provide architectural guidance across teams and initiatives • Drive end-to-end ownership of solutions from requirements gathering and system design through deployment and operational support • Champion security-first engineering practices, ensuring compliance and proper handling of sensitive data across all services • Establish and evolve engineering standards, patterns, and best practices that scale with the organization • Mentor engineers at all levels and foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver business outcomes • Leverage AI tools and repeatable AI-assisted workflows to improve development speed, quality, and engineering efficiency • Optimize software and infrastructure performance to reduce operational costs and cloud spend • Support vendor and technology partner relationships • Participate in Agile development processes, including two-week sprint cycles • Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
