Role Description The District Sales Manager serves as the primary driver for market expansion and sales growth for TOTO within the North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas territory. This role is responsible for cultivating and supporting distribution channels—including wholesalers, showrooms, architects, designers, engineers, and mechanical contractors—while overseeing local representative agencies. The incumbent will build and maintain high-level relationships with industry stakeholders to promote TOTO’s premium product portfolio and ensure brand excellence. Essential Functions - Business Development: - Identify and evaluate new distribution opportunities. - Expand sales by fostering strong relationships with architects, contractors, and luxury kitchen/bath dealers. - Sales Network Performance: - Train, mentor, and provide ongoing support to distribution partners. - Direct local representative agencies to ensure the consistent achievement of regional KPI goals. - Specification Management: - Generate and track leads for medium- to large-scale construction projects across various sectors. - Technical Support & Education: - Conduct product demonstrations, "Lunch & Learn" sessions, and technical training at various sites. - Data & Analytics: - Utilize SAP CRM and Salesforce for reporting. - Analyze regional sales data with Tableau to identify emerging market trends and optimize sales strategies. - Customer Support: - Proactively investigate and resolve product or service concerns. - Showroom Management: - Partner with showrooms on product displays, pricing, and merchandising. Supervisory Responsibility - Direct the activities of local representative agencies and/or junior sales staff. - Monitor performance, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with TOTO policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of industry-related experience (decorative plumbing or construction-related). - Local Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the North Texas building landscape and established relationships within the local wholesaler and design community. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluency in SAP CRM, Salesforce, and Tableau preferred. Requirements - Location: Must reside within the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area. - Travel: Field-based role requiring frequent travel throughout the territory, including overnight stays and occasional travel for tradeshows and corporate meetings. - Physical: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (samples/equipment) and perform site visits involving walking, standing, and navigating construction environments.
