Role Description This role is for candidates in CA and IL. As a Settlement Negotiator at TORKLAW, your responsibilities will include, but are by no means limited to: - Negotiate personal injury settlements in both pre-litigation and litigation stages. - Regularly communicate with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and medical providers. - Analyze the value of personal injury cases based on medical bills, injuries, and other pertinent factors. - Work closely with attorneys and clients to strategize and implement negotiation tactics. - Maintain accurate case records, documenting all correspondence, conversations, and negotiations. - Uphold the firm's client-centered philosophy by providing outstanding service and compassion to our clients. Qualifications - A minimum of 5 years' experience in pre-litigation negotiation in a personal injury law firm setting. - Proven track record of successful negotiations with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and medical providers. - Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. - Strong organization and multitasking abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Keen attention to detail and superior problem-solving skills. - Strong familiarity with medical terminology and billing, personal injury law, and insurance procedures. - Accountable for results. Requirements - Our ideal candidate will have more than 6 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience. - Excellent communication and people skills are essential. - Candidates must be organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required. - Some litigation experience is a plus.
