Role Description This is a remote position. We are seeking a skilled English professional writer and editor to join our team at Tongues Translation Services LLC. The successful candidate should have a degree in English or Associates degree in general studies, and at least three years of professional writing, proofing, and editing experience, with knowledge of urban and regional colloquialisms of United States English. If the candidate has 7 years of professional writing experience, a degree is not required but must be able to provide proof of experience. - Research and write compelling content for various media including, but not limited to, blogs, social media, websites, and newsletters. - Edit and proofread content to ensure it is free of errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation. - Develop and maintain an understanding of the company's voice and style to ensure consistency in all written materials. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure content aligns with overall marketing and branding initiatives. - Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure our content is always fresh and relevant. - Ensure all content adheres to the company's policies, guidelines, and legal requirements. • This is a remote position. • We are hiring a Caption/Subtitle Translator to join our project team. • You will work alongside other translators and report directly to the project manager. • Your main tasks will include translating captions/subtitle, Machine Translation Post Editing (MTPE), Transcreation etc. • To succeed in this role you should have a natural understanding of target language and a good grasp of grammar. • Translate content within captions/subtitles, documents, web pages, and software. • Fix incorrect cultural translation issues which were done using Machine Translation (MTPE). • Ability to change translation by confining them to limited number of words without breaking the meaning. • Maintain translation database by using Translation Management Software. • Provide quality assurance for the translation process. • Work with a wide range of media and translation software. • Resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture. • Engage with other departments to provide translation services. • Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.

To guarantee that expectations and timelines are followed, the audio editor must be experienced in the post-production process. The ideal applicant will have prior experience editing audio-books and podcasts. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for quality and detail and will strive to ensure that every audio production produced meets our exacting standards. They must be able to handle many projects at varying states of completion at the same time. An capacity to prioritize, as well as organizational and collaboration abilities, is required. Audio Editor Responsibilities: - Sync audio vocals with the mouth movements in the video. - Perform in all aspects of audio recording, editing, mixing and finishing. - Edit and clean raw audio files (remove noise, glitches, inconsistencies, mistakes, etc.). - Work closely with production team to meet deadlines. - Assist in creating and maintaining the sound, tone, and style of shows. - Close attention to quality and improvement of sound dynamics. - Creativity is encouraged. - Ability to work fast and on deadline. - Implement templates to be used as much as possible for maximum efficiency. - Organize tracking system to maintain accountability for recordings and ensure finished recordings are delivered on deadline.
