Role Description You're the one people call when something sparks — and not in a good way. You know the difference between “that’s weird” and “that’s dangerous,” and you’ve built a career on getting to the bottom of electrical issues that others can’t figure out. We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Service Technician to join our team. This role is hands-on, full-time, and comes with a company vehicle, Monday–Friday hours, and opportunities to keep growing your skills. What You’ll Do - Show up on time, ready to work, whether it's a routine job or a high-priority call. - Fix things right the first time using your knowledge, asking the right questions, and troubleshooting effectively. - Keep solid records, uploading photos, notes, and receipts in our field service app when the job’s done. - Communicate with your team (especially the Project Manager), check email daily, and submit your timesheets on time. - Be the face of the company to our customers, maintaining professionalism, courtesy, and a service-first attitude. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in the field. - A trade school certification or degree. - Expert-level knowledge of electrical codes and standards. - A get-it-done attitude and the independence to manage your own work. - The physical ability to do the job safely and reliably. - Bonus if you’ve done electrical service work before, but not required. Requirements - We are a 24x7 division. - Your time begins when you arrive at the job site. - On-call and emergency rotation required (currently it's once every six weeks). - Company vehicle provided. - Ongoing training to help you stay sharp and grow. • Install, troubleshoot, and repair Access Control and Video Surveillance systems across different environments. • Work with electrified locking hardware — wiring, mounting, and testing for peak performance. • Install devices like maglocks, strikes, and cameras according to specs, codes, and standards. • Run cabling and infrastructure that keeps systems running smoothly. • Read blueprints and follow project documents with confidence. • Lead or support your crew — you know how to get the job done, together. • Program and test Access Control and CCTV systems until everything runs flawlessly.
