Position Summary: The Team Lead for Planning and Preparedness (Business Title), manages the staff/team of planners, trainers and emergency management professionals and helps to lead proposal and business development efforts. Duties include, but are not limited to, contract oversight, client management, business development, implementation and development of policy, supervision of assigned staff, and supporting business unit operational and management goals. The Team Lead serves as the Project Manager for a limited number of projects but also supports the team’s assigned Project Managers and staff, and acts as an alternate point of contact for clients, ensuring that assigned staff are fully meeting their needs. The Team Lead monitors all assigned contracts, task orders and invoicing--including direct and indirect costs--though project managers serve as the primary POC for individual task orders and invoice approvals. The Team Lead assists Project Managers with the management of assigned projects and is responsible for monitoring and ensuring profitability of all work. The Team Lead also represents Tidal Basin during proposal interviews, industry forums, training and conferences. The Team Lead will complete other tasks as assigned by the Department Head of Planning and Resilience. Remote work may be considered for candidates who live more than 50 miles from one of our corporate office locations. However, candidates should also be prepared to report onsite to a designated corporate office location if their home residence is within approximately 50 miles. The ability to travel to client locations and potentially deploy for extended periods of time is a requirement of this position. Job Duties and Responsibilities include: - Assist the Planning and Resilience Department, and leadership with the administration of all current projects. - Assist the Planning and Resilience Department with Business Development efforts to secure new business for Tidal Basin, to include prospective client outreach, market research, proposal development, and client presentations. - Supervise and mentor assigned staff, including monitoring project and other assigned work, conducting performance appraisals, and assisting with professional development. - Act as the project manager for a limited number of projects while providing oversight to other team PMs on their assigned projects, maintaining client relationships, ensuring contract compliance, monitoring financial targets, and liaising between the client and Tidal Basin staff when necessary - Manage other projects and tasks when assigned by department, division or leadership - Complete all required compliance training on an annual basis Skills and Competencies: - Strong knowledge of emergency management with a focus on preparedness programs, grants and standards. - Expertise in hazard mitigation planning - Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations and government procurement policy - Proven track record in business development and client relationship management - Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner (oral and written) - Strong Leadership and Team Building skills - Ability to be productive in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional work environment Required Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Emergency Management, Accounting, Finance or related field, or in lieu of a bachelor's degree,10 years of related experience. - 5+ years of experience in emergency management with a focus on preparedness and planning - 3+ years of supervisory experience - Previous experience in preparedness at the state or local level is preferred - PMP preferred - CEM or equivalent state certification preferred Job Description Disclaimer This position description incorporates the job's core responsibilities. THIS IS A FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Position Summary: The Director of Business Development for State, Local, Tribal, Territorial (SLTT) is a strategic, revenue-driving leader responsible for steering sales, business development strategy, pipeline governance, and post sale customer success in State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial markets. This role leads cross functional programs with Marketing, Proposals, Capture, and Operations to grow market share, improve profitability, and deliver measurable value to customers and the company. The ideal candidate is an accomplished midlevel executive with deep SLTT market insight, proven results in complex sales cycles, and a collaborative leadership style that scales teams and processes. Job Duties and Responsibilities include: - Build and lead a capable sales and business development team to meet or exceed SLTT revenue targets; translate strategy into actionable plans, budgets, and quarterly milestones. - Own pipeline governance: maintain accurate CRM data (leads, opportunities, forecast), and support disciplined stage-gate reviews to improve win rates. - Support Operations and Sales in Go/No-Go decisions for Capture and RFX activities; support capture/proposals to align with win themes and customer value. - Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. - Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to create and execute marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and customer acquisition. - Collaborate with the Capture and Proposals team to ensure coordination occurs across the full lifecycle of an opportunity. THIS IS A FULLTIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Position Summary: The Senior Project Manager will support state‑level public health and federal grant initiatives, working in partnership with government entities, healthcare organizations, and community stakeholders to design, implement, and manage complex federally funded programs. This role focuses on program administration and compliance for large‑scale public health and rural health initiatives under 2 CFR 200, including pre‑award, post‑award, financial oversight, subrecipient monitoring, and performance management. The Senior Project Manager will apply deep experience in public health program delivery, federal grants management, and statewide health system initiatives to ensure compliant, efficient, and impactful execution of program goals. This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in Florida and be available for in‑state travel as required by the client. This is a contingent hire, pending contract award. Additional travel may be required, up to 50%, should other project needs arise.
