As Principal Lawyer, you will: - Lead by example — running high value, complex litigation. - Provide strategic and operational direction for junior team members. - Ensure exceptional client care at every stage of the journey. - Manage your own caseload. - Work with senior management to drive the financial and operational success of the team. - Be a key contributor to business development. - Nurture and grow relationships with Trade Unions, members, and private clients. - Raise the team’s profile and help shape its long‑term success. - Work with senior colleagues within the National Clinical Negligence team to help meet the strategic goals of the firm. Qualifications - Experience of running complex clinical negligence litigation. - Strong supervisory, mentoring, and leadership capability. - A desire to maximise team performance and continuous improvement. - Confidence in billing, forecasting, and cost recovery. - Relevant accreditation (Law Society, AVMA, or equivalent) is beneficial.
