• Lead and grow the marketing team by leading all acquisition efforts including SEO, ASO, SEM, earned media, social media and PR • Oversee the full acquisition funnel, look for opportunities to optimize conversion and efficiency • Primary owner of churn and retention rate for The League • Define and ensure consistent brand voice across all marketing efforts • Develop a clear, consistent process for measuring digital campaign effectiveness & ROI • Manage the monthly marketing budget across all paid channels to achieve growth targets at the target CAC, report weekly on performance metrics and spending • Create local and hyper local strategies to target and acquire customers in tight radius around our operating regions through digital as well as non-digital partnerships • Dive deep into the data on customer personas and cohorts to identify the League’s ideal customer, direct the acquisition funnel to find more of them, and design retention programs to increase their lifetime value • Identify and experiment with new channels of acquisition with a results-driven mindset to broaden our reach and hit growth targets • Responsible for the day-to-day management and evaluation of all external agency relationships and partnerships the League develops to support its marketing efforts
• Performing deep-dive analysis to understand and optimize key levers of our product’s marketing funnel: acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. • Designing core metrics that serve as North Stars for team efforts and OKRs. • Conducting quarterly prioritized analysis projects targeted at revenue and user growth. • Conducting ad-hoc analyses as defined by cross-functional partners and prioritized weekly. • Managing and maintaining dashboards in Periscope that relate operational performance across company departments and track key company metrics. • Working with product managers and engineers to design data products and run A/B experiments. • Working directly with product and business stakeholders to translate the questions and hypotheses into structured analysis. • Owning data analysis and visualization, and communicating the outcomes/insights to various partners (marketing, data, product, eng) to aid strategic decisions for improvements in experience for users.
