Role Description We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Account Executive to grow revenue on The Rounds platform. This is a unique opportunity to join a health tech company where your contributions will directly shape the healthcare ecosystem. Join our passionate and commercially driven team as an Account Executive for The Rounds. Reporting to the President, you will take ownership of growing advertiser and partner revenue by: - Identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare agencies, and medical associations. - Using a blend of inside and outside sales approaches to bring The Rounds value proposition to life for clients. You are a results-driven sales professional who knows the healthcare and pharma marketing landscape. Success in this Role Looks Like - Driving new revenue by prospecting and closing deals with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical association, and healthcare agency clients. - Owning the full sales cycle: from lead generation and discovery through proposal development, contract/SOW/MSA negotiation, and close. - Building and maintaining strong client relationships to maximize campaign renewals and account expansion. - Collaborating with the Customer Experience team to ensure smooth campaign handoffs and client satisfaction. - Representing The Rounds at medical conferences, industry events, and key account meetings. - Providing market feedback to the product and leadership teams to inform platform development. - Maintaining accurate pipeline records and activity logs in HubSpot and other CRM tools. - Meeting and exceeding quarterly revenue targets in a performance-oriented culture. Qualifications - 3+ years of B2B sales experience. - Proven experience in a relevant sales role with both prospecting and closing experience. - Prior experience selling into pharmaceutical companies, healthcare agencies, or medical associations. - Strong consultative sales skills: you listen first, then craft solutions that align with a client's strategic objectives. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenter to both marketing and medical audiences. - Familiarity with PAAB, IMC, or Canadian pharmaceutical promotional guidelines is an asset. - Self-starter who thrives with autonomy in a fast-moving environment. - Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and standard productivity tools. - Fluent in English; proficiency in French or bilingual capability is a strong asset given our national scope.
