Role Description We are seeking a proactive, relationship-focused Recruiting Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting across our growing organization. This role is responsible for attracting, identifying, and hiring exceptional talent for our Little Gym locations while partnering closely with gym managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, exercises sound judgment, and is passionate about creating an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance. In addition to recruiting, this role will support the People team with various HR initiatives and projects as business needs evolve. This is a remote position. We strongly prefer candidates located in the Central Time Zone, as our locations span the U.S. with concentrations on both the East and West Coasts. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. - 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. - Experience recruiting for multi-location, retail, hospitality, fitness, education, healthcare, or other customer-facing operations preferred. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously. - Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. - Strong time management and prioritization skills. - Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. - HR experience is a plus. Requirements - Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for positions across multiple gym locations. - Partner with gym managers to understand hiring needs, staffing priorities, and local market conditions. - Develop recruiting strategies tailored to individual markets and positions. - Create and maintain job descriptions and compelling job advertisements. - Post and manage openings across multiple recruiting platforms. - Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and proactive outreach. - Screen resumes and conduct initial phone or virtual interviews. - Evaluate candidates for qualifications, experience, culture fit, and overall potential. - Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. - Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. - Prepare and extend employment offers. - Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely hiring decisions. - Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness. - Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and recruiting documentation. - Partner with the People team to continuously improve recruiting processes and hiring outcomes. - Assist with onboarding activities, HR projects, and process improvements as needed. - Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information. - Provide administrative support to the People team as business needs require.
